I was given this book for my completely honest thoughts and words... So here goes!

This is not to be considered a short book by page numbers. Coming in around 250 pages... but when you start this book, you will want to finish it! I am a fan of Ms. Vivian's work and I did read book one and review it (here). And to say that I want more on those Coleman boys is an understatement.

This is one family that I would really like to be a part of... Six boys.. Okay, correction.. Six grown, hot, delicious, wrangler wearing, hot bodies, smooth sweet talking gentleman! They each have their own identity, their own history and their own heart of gold... and passion! Let's not forget that! Ms. Arend is crafting these stories in such a way that the whole family is included, which is nice. She is entwining them to where the family is in the background and not over shadowing the main storyline... but keeping you centered that this is all about family.

This story threw me for a curve because it has children in it... And this story really shook me up a bit because of Beth's past. That woman is a woman after my own heart... Beth is a mother of three adorable boys. They are so full of life and just want to be the "man" for their mom. It is so heartwarming to see these three included in the story and to see that Daniel's concern is for them. It is refreshing to see that children really matter. Anyway... Beth is a woman who's past haunts her every day... And she sees the reminder of her past in her boys glances, in their demeanor. She wanted a fresh start... A new beginning... For her and the boys.. She wanted control over her life and her future! That was until she met tall, dark and handsome Daniel Coleman. Would he be the one to change her world... In a forever kinda way??

Daniel is the middle son of the Six Pack Coleman boys (men). He is the sensible one, the one all look to for help with something. He never thought of himself as the settling down type... Especially after what his ex put him through, but we all have demons to fight. Daniel wins my admiration because he is not a victim of is circumstances. He perseveres through life, love and heartache. He has a kind and gentle soul, but oh damn does this man have one soul that burns with passion. He was not sure what the future held for him... But when he meets Beth... His whole world is thrown for a loop!

These two together melt my heart. Their coming together, in more than one way, is sooooo awe touching that it makes your heart sing. This is refreshing take on how families come together and become one. It was difficult to hear the past come out and see the tears and hurt. Watching Beth and Daniel expose themselves to each other was raw, but it made the story so much richer for it.

Then throw in the rest of the Coleman, and this story turned out to be on Hell'va Ride to Haven!
Ms. Arend, you did it yet again! The crew came together for each other when they needed a shoulder to lean on or a hand to hold. They welcome the new comers of the family with open arms. This is such a wonderful, delightful adventure with these Coleman's! I am definitely looking for more to come!

The Cursed Clan was born out of a writer’s retreat. I wanted to try something different. Not that I don’t love writing my historical sensual romantic suspenses or my erotic contemps, but at the time I dreamed this up, I had never really did any huge world building. I had a few futuristics, but nothing on the scale of this book. It follows the story of five cousins: Callum, Angus, Logan, Fletcher and Anice. Each of the books feature one of the cousins and their quest to break the curse. First up is the Laird of the Lennon family, Callum Lennon. While it’s a contemporary paranormal romance, the seeds of their problems start centuries earlier just after the Battle of Culloden. Callum is the protector of the Clan, a man who believes it is his duty to see to their welfare. It leaves him little time for fun, for romance, but that all changes when our heroine, Dr. Phoebe Chilton is brought in to help solve the curse. From the moment they meet, the sparks fly, but they are both keeping secrets. Their chemistry exploded off the pages as I was writing it. They have a tenacious relationship that of course hides the attraction they both feel for each other.

“I protect what is mine. I’ll not allow you to use Angus.”

She moved away from the counter, her body tense with anger. “I have never used another person, especially in that way. You’ve convinced yourself that I decided to somehow use my considerable wiles on your cousin to somehow gain who knows what.”

When she said it like that, he felt juvenile and petty.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Lennon. I’ll avoid your cousins from now on.”

Which is what he wanted, but at the same time he felt like the lowest form of scum even if it was the best choice. The diary could hold their secrets, and the less she connected to them, the better. They just needed it translated, and for her to leave. As soon as that happened, he would be free of this affliction, he was sure.

“I’ll do my work and take my meals in my room.”

He heard the hurt in her voice. His need to banish Phoebe was as unexplainable as the need to ease her pain. She attempted to brush past him, but he stepped in front of her, blocking her one exit.

“I didn’t say you needed to avoid my cousins.” It was what he wanted, needed, but here he was contradicting his own thoughts, again.

When she looked at him, there was no humor in her gaze, no studied interest as he’d seen before. Now, all he saw was loneliness and he ached.

“No. I’ll finish my task and leave. I know you must have a very good reason, although I can’t understand what it could be. I will respect your wishes.”

Again, she tried to move past him, but he refused to budge. That same fresh scent of her reached his senses, seducing him. Even as he was reaching for her, his mind was screaming stop. He ignored it, and every other protective instinct. The only thing roaring through his head was to take, to claim.

“It isna my family that has me worried, lass.” The moment he wrapped his hand around her upper arm, her head shot up, surprise lighting her eyes her mouth falling open in surprise. “It seems being around you is no’ good for my peace of mind.”

He jerked her against him. She gasped, the sound filled with both fear and excitement. Arousal spiked and his body craved—demanded—more intimate contact. Knowing it was wrong, even knowing it was dangerous, he bent his head and took possession of her luscious mouth.

For those of you that know me... and those that don't this is my little statement about short books.... I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that - short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. So with that said.... here is my review... I was given this book for my honest thoughts... So let's go..

If you have come to my place more than once, you will know that I have read Ms. Monroe's series of Fantasy Resort and liked them! I was happy that she asked me to read book 3!!! And let me say... I was not disappointed! Actually, Ms. Monroe's writing keeps getting better! The suspense is getting thicker, the involvement is getting deeper and the loving just keeps getting... well....hotter!!! Ms. Monroe is developing these stories with a richness that is nice, even for a short story. She is intermingling the characters from the previous books with such an ease that makes the stories flow together. There is no need to read the books in order, you will not be lost. =) These stories keep getting better!!!

This story will entrap you with the opening story... Which drew me in from the opening line. ((I love it when a story opens with a great opening line ~ fyi)) To learn of Larissa's history with her friends and her ex was a key element. It all meshed very well together, Ms. Melody is keeping her stories fresh, hot, attractive with damn hot ass men!!!

This story only took me a day to read. Which means... this is an awesome story! The men in Ms. Monroe's story will make you want to head to this resort to fulfill your own damn fantasy and believe me - after three stories... Ms. Monroe will give up the location of this place because I want my own fantasies fulfilled!! Especially with the hot men she puts in these!!! Surely she can create one for me!! Hehehehe!!!

Seriously though, these stories are really great and like I stated above, you do not have to read in order, but it is nice. The friends come and go in all the stories, so you are never left out. Ms. Melody does a great job at bringing them in and out of the story but not overshadowing them in the story as to take away from the main characters.

I can't give you to much because this is a short story (by my guidelines, lol) and you will want to be surprised by exactly what happens to Larissa. Can a straight laced, uptight lawyer find something that two men are willing to give her....??? A heart filled with love....

I will have to say that Ms. Monroe steals my hearts with her endings! I fall in love every time!! Ms. Monroe another great escape into the Fantasy Resort series!!!! Now I need book four!!! =)

Ms. Desiree Holt is a new to me author! I have to say that I will be going on a search for more of her books! Her writing has charm, passion, suspense, hot men, leading ladies.... and of course hot sex! It was a real pleasure to read Bound and Determined.... And believe, I was Bound and Determined to finish this book!

Ms. Holt sets the stage by Alix having a girls weekend with a little party.... A Fun Party! The weekend was over and everyone was leaving... That is when Mack made his appearance.... And that is when the fun really started!

This is a short story... But I promise you, you will enjoy every page. It was really amazing to watch Alix grow out of her shell. But it was also really hot to watch Mack pull her from that shell. These two together are really quite combustible. Now I know I told you the story is short... but Ms. Holt does not leave you hanging! In fact, she give you a wonderfully, delicious little story!

Can one weekend of lust, passion, desire... and some serious trusting with toys lead to more than just that weekend...? Alix is everything sugar and spice and everything nice... but will Mack want to take her on full time? Mack is everything hot and spicy... but will Alix be able to break down the wall that he has built to allow more than just her hot sexy body in his bed... How about her heart? This is such a sweet, sexy tale of two people finally finding each other and seeing where it will lead... Let me just say.. They are Bound and Determined to see where it can go.... Have a delicious time reading it!

I was given this book for my honest thoughts and opinion... Now that I have stated the obvious... Let's get on with this review... Because you will want to get this book and this series!!!!

Okay, first let me start off with the fact that this is book four... I know you got that part from the mentioning of it way up there... You are probably thinking, "Cecile, where is review two and three?? Because we know you are anal that way...!!" Well, let me say that I have not read two or three yet... I have only read book one (check out review here) and then jumped to this one! But I will quickly follow this up with I am going to read two and three as soooonnnn as I finish with this review!!

Ms. Jodi was a new to me author... Well, that has changed! A LOT!!! Ms. Jodi's stories are riveting, intriguing, heart wrenching, and definitely stories you will not want to put down! Her writing makes you cheer on the hero and makes you want to bitch slap the villain! She will tantalize you with desire so thick, she will tease you with passion off the charts, she will please you with the ending! Now that I have teased you just a bit... Let's get to the story!

The story starts off dark and demented... Samael is in hell. No really.. he is in hell with a man set on torturing him to death! Well, that is until one woman with a mission walks in to save his ass.... The saving part is up for discussion. Samael is a demon with a past that would make Satan look like a Saint. He collects souls... but that actually was the okay part of his job... That is until he found his ass bound to a whacked out witch set on vengeance. So when he landed his ass in "demon hell" so to speak... he thought for once in his life... his life was his. His own to do as he wished - even though there was really nothing he could do. But at least he was not tied to anyone... He did not have to do anyone's bidding. Because to be someone's familiar... means you are tied to them for the rest of eternity and as far as Samael was concerned he was through with that shit.

Samael is a man hell bent on being the bad ass. He does not want to be good; because to be good... means he would have to have a conscience.... and care.......! And that he did not want to do. My heart went out for Samael; even though he proved himself to be an asshole sometimes... You knew why he was the way he was but sometimes you still wanted to smack the shit out of him for being the way he was. But I gotta give it to a man that loves his GTO as much as he does... Oh man... he will make you wet, I promise you. He is rough, violent, destructive... He does not believe in love, nor happiness. He is as bad as bad can be. He is a man who is about to eat his words! You will want to see how exactly you can get familiar with this demon!

Marabella, aka Bella, is a woman with an overbearing mother. But who does not have a mother like that. But I loved Bella from the beginning... Her opening story just had me giggling! She thinks that she will be cursed a virgin for the rest of her life... As she tries her damnest to "get some".... she gets rejected. All the time. That must be a bitch! I mean can you imagine... Hot guy... Hot date... Things are going great... Actually things are getting hot and heavy... And when it is time for the fireworks to happen.... Well, the guy ditches you. Yea, total bitch! I really feel for Marabella, but I have to give it to her ~ she has a heart of gold. She really is a genuine person that you want to like and do whatever to help her. She is just that kind of person. I love her character because no matter, she sees the good in people and she does not judge. But one thing she finds out about herself... She is half angel. Let that sit for a while.. An angel. What side of the family did she get that from?!?! Well, if you come on the ride of Getting Familiar With Her Demon you will find out!!!

This is a story that will get your blood going, it will get your heart rate up! You will be cheering from the sides and praying like crazy that some people just see what is right in front of them! You will watch these two tap dance around the simple fact that they really are meant to be together. Who says bad can conqueror good? The back and forth bickering between these two is great! But it wasn't only these two that made the story what it... Ms. Jodi gave us all sorts of family members in this story and they tied nicely to the story. In fact, they sometimes made you down right out giggle over what they were saying.

This story freaking rocked! I mean, I thought the first one was awesome... I didn't think it could get any better.. Well, Ms. Jodi showed proved me wrong. This woman just keeps the story rolling. OMG... she gave me everything and more and more! And I will promise you... you will not be lost on the story line! Ms. Jodi did an awesome job at making the stories stand alone. I mean, you get the reference of the people they are talking about. So, if you have gotten put Ms. Jodi's demon series on your wishlist... or on your reading device like now... I am urging you to do it now! These stories are truly captivating! And I wanted to put the cover a little bit bigger - come'on... it is a hot cover!!!!!!! And when you get to know Samael... You will understand my infatuation! =) Now I must go get book two and three!!! You see.. I wanna get familiar with my own demon!!!
