Why don't you tell us a little about yourself.... Something that we cannot Google about you, lol!
Ty Langston: Well, I’m a former dancer and that I really dig, MMA, boxing, pro wrestling and comics. I loved ballet and did also tap and jazz for years along with playing the piano. I came pretty close to become a professional dancer. I’m a mix of a of everything. LOL
Tigris Eden: When I was 16, I sang at the Apollo Theater. I was in all city band, as well as all city choir, in elementary. In Jr. High I was in the marching band, and my instrument of choice was the flute. My nickname growing up was Ballerina Tina, and another word I just can’t share with you all. Sorry*winks* (It’s too embarrassing)
Riley Ross: I am addicted to playing video games, collecting purses, and I love shoes. Music is also another passion of mine. I love wrestling and football.
Tell us a little about your book?
Ty Langston: Crave is about a young reporter named Harper who is tracking down the disappearance of a teenager who has ties to a rock band called, Crave, and its lead singer.
Harper is worked to the bone. She’s tired, she’s been working at the city beat of her paper for several years and the hours are draining. She’s wants more out of life, but is unsure how to go about it, that is until Cass St. Marie, lead singer of Crave, takes an immediate and mysterious liking to her and has some secrets of his own.
Tigris Eden: The Genesis Project is a sci-fi, futuristic world where Genesis Blackmore is created in a lab to save a race of Vampires called Pars. She doesn’t realize she’s human and neither does anyone else, with the exception of her father/creator, Vaggo Blackmore. Her physical differences cause quite the stir as everyone on New Earth has milk, white skin, and platinum hair with blue eyes. Gen is the complete opposite in every way.
Riley Ross: The Getaway is a contemporary love story between Mike and Juliet. She is stressed from family drama and he wants to whisk her away for two weeks. They have some obstacles in their way such as his scheming mother and his ex-girlfriend.
How much emotion does it take from you to write?
Ty Langston: Depending on the scene, a lot. Darien’s piece for the 3rd episode was one of the hardest things I had ever written. She’s in a dark place and it was hard to get into that mindset. It took me a few days to get it the way I wanted it come across, which was dark, sad and empty. I’m a pretty and positive person by nature so to get my head in that space was difficult.
Tigris Eden: It really depends on what I’m writing. Love scenes are a lot harder to write for me, because it’s pretty scary. Sometimes I have to stop half way through it, because there is so much going on, and half the time I get caught up in the mechanics. Usually because what I’m feeling doesn’t jive with the particular piece I’m writing. It can be very draining.
Riley Ross: Emotional scenes take a lot out of me. Sometimes I have to put on music and let the words flow freely as I type.
What is your favorite part of the book?
Ty Langston: I laugh out loud as I write this. Cass. I adore Cass and Harper’s relationship. I love their banter. It’s a riot. For every snarky thing she says, he counters it with a line that makes you either laugh out loud or fan your face due to the sexual innuendo he uses on a constant basis. I could write it all day. They (the characters) come out and say the craziest things but it is clear at the end there are genuine, deep feelings between them that I can’t wait to explore in the next book even more than I could in this one.
Tigris Eden: My favorite part is when Genesis experiences her first kiss. She faints. Literally. There is like this burst of emotions she feels coupled with a blast of multi-color fragments. It’s cute and its sweet. Plus we get to see Xander take her over.
Riley Ross: Hands down it’s the segments with Brutus the Guard Goose.

Riley Ross: Juliet- fierce, determined and strong Mike-charismatic, romantic, awesome
Which was the easiest character to write and the hardest ~ and why??
Ty Langston: Harper has been the easiest. I adore her because she reminds me so much of how I was at her age. I worked at a newspaper as newsroom assistant for a number of years while I worked my way through college and interned at a news station. Journalists are an amazing breed. They work crazy hours and do it because they like all of us, seek the truth or even a basic answer. May not be what we want to hear, but they risk and at times sacrifice their lives to do it. Marcus is the hardest, so far. He hates Cass on so many levels that what seems to be a logical reason at first glance has now evolved into something now more vicious and toxic and gets worse at the books go on.
Tigris Eden: The easiest character for me to write is Xander. He has an abundance of over confidence, and he’s fun to write. I can be open with him and know that he can say something you would least expect, but then still be sexy while he’s doing it. (Most of the time) The hardest to write would definitely be Gen. Trying to see the world through her eyes has been my biggest challenge. Everything is raw, and real to her. Her emotions, her feelings and just the general contact she has with those around her. I have to literally write one word descriptions of what she’s feeling next, and then evolve those words into complete sentences. I feel incompetent at times when it comes to her adventure. But I’m up for the challenge
Riley Ross: Juliet was the easiest to write because I can identify with her. Same with writing Mike, I loosely based him on my husband. The hardest character to write was Elaine, Mike’s mother. I wanted her to come across as over the top mean but show that she has a heart.
How many books are you shooting for in this series??
Ty Langston: Not sure, they’ll be at least 3. CRAVE, followed by NEED and HUNGER. Since the band Crave, is in a band, they’ll be characters and hopefully other bands, that we’ll see crossover into other stories. I’d love to have a spin off that would feature Julianne , who people really liked from episode one and she shows up in this episode as well along with a story for Sean, guitarist for Crave.
Tigris Eden: That is a really good question. I’m not sure. But I do know that the Genesis Project will be a stand-alone starting next year, and then at least one more story. I have so many projects going on it’s hard to predict at this moment. I’ll just let the chips fall where they may at this point. See where things go.
Riley Ross: 2-3. I am not quite done with Juliet and Mike. They might appear in a spinoff eventually.
What are you currently working on?
Ty Langston: NEED, the second book in the Crave series along with a contemporary romance, called Mail Order Groom which is in the editing phase now.
Tigris Eden: I have the Author’s cut of Enslaved In Shadows that I have been reworking, and then there is Burned In Shadows which is out in February. That’s what’s on my plate at the moment.
Riley Ross: I am currently working on the story for the second season. It doesn’t have a title so far.
Do you have anything due to release soon?
Ty Langston: NEED will be released in Feb, along with a special, secret project I’m working with Tigris Eden on. That will be out in the summer, I do believe.
Tigris Eden: Yes, I have the Author’s cut of Enslaved In Shadows which will be coming out in print in January as well as Burned In Shadows that will be released in Late February, early March. I’ve been going back and forth on that one as far as release date. But I should have something nailed down by mid-December. Then of course there is the secret project that I’m working on with Ty Langston that is due out hopefully sometime during the summer. We’ll see.
Riley Ross: The untitled story for the second season will be out in February.
What's one thing that you enjoy about writing?
Ty Langston: To be able to create fun, interesting worlds and characters that connect with everyone.
Tigris Eden: The thing I love the most is, how easily it is to change things up, and go against the grain. I like to do things differently when I write. It’s fun and it gives my massive imagination free reign to mess things up J
Riley Ross: To make people laugh and to identify with the characters.
Since we're cover hussies....what was your first impression of your cover?
Ty Langston: Our cover artist, Stephanie Fodor Scott is amazing. I was floored. It’s absolutely beautiful. It set the entire tone of what we were trying to accomplish.
Tigris Eden: There isn’t much to say Stephanie did an amazing job on the covers, and all of them have just been super HAWT! How can you not love those sexy poses!
Riley Ross: All I could think when I first saw it was WOW! I thought Stephanie Fodor Scott did an amazing job with the covers.
What do you prefer ebooks or paperbacks?
Ty Langston: Ebooks. I love my Kindle and there is nothing like being at home on a rainy or snowy night and downloading a book or two and reading it without having to go out into the elements.
Tigris Eden: I’m on the fence with this one. Depends on the book and the Author actually. If its anything by Lara Adrian, Karin Tabke or Larissa Ione I have them both on my Kindle and in Paperback. Everyone else is usually heads straight to my Kindle. :)
Riley Ross: E-Books all the way, you can have all of your favorites at your fingertips. Plus it’s easier to pack for road trips.
Is there a genre you would like to write but are a little apprehensive to try?
Ty Langston: Steampunk. I’d love to do it but i don’t know if I could. I leave that to others..LOL)
Tigris Eden: You ask the best questions! Yes I’d love to write Historical Romance, but scared senseless! I think I’d fail miserably, because I’d cross time periods or screw up the language, or get the period clothing wrong.
Riley Ross: Mysteries. I love to read them but don’t know if I could write one.
Okay.... personal time!!!! Oh yeah, I go there... Hahah...
If you thought you were safe... Nah... Forgot it... Not a chance! We will start off slow and easy, I promise!

Ty Langston: A notebook, ipod and pen. (I kid you not!-Scary)

Ty Langston: Its bittersweet. It was me making arrangements to meet my sister and her family and my father (who I had just started a relationship with) in Texas. Unfortunately, it’d be the only time all of us would be together. He passed away a year after that.
Tigris Eden: Is it totally corny to say my best birthday was not on my birthday? But my son Darryl’s birthday? It’s a birthday right? It was April 19th, 1994 when my son was born. Best day ever! He’s 18 now but I remember that day as if it was yesterday. And that will stay with me forever!
Riley Ross: My two Siberian Huskies Sammie and Demon. They are my babies and the greatest gift ever.

As a child, multi-published author Ty Langston loved to read about dragons and knights so much that one day, her grandmother told her to “just write about them.”
So she did.
From that day forward, she never left home without her pen, a notebook, and some kind of music playing in the background. Her love of reading expanded from fantasy into science fiction, and eventually into paranormal romance and erotica.
She enjoys different works from George Martin, Anne McCaffrey, Stephen King, and Jackie Collins. But some of Ty’s favorite writers are from the world of TV and film: namely, Tudors creator Michael Hirst, and the late John Hughes.
