Review: Moonlight Temptation by Stephanie Julian

Moonlight Temptation

Fourth in the Lucani Lovers series

Evie Simmons has magical powers she can’t control and her best friend is a 17-year-old werewolf. Add in the sexy shifter she can’t keep out of her mind and his hot-as-hell friend and it’s a recipe for disaster. Dr. Dane Dimitriou knows Evie has had a hard time adjusting to her new life in Etruscan magical community—almost as difficult as his denial of his feelings for her have been. And he’s got the perfect cure—his best friend. Easygoing Ryan Maguire is the opposite of stick-up-his-ass Dane. He can act as a buffer. Dane can get close, but not too close. Yeah, right. These sexy men may be just what the doctor ordered for Evie.

I obtained the above information from Ms. Julian's website.

And I was also given this book from the author to review for my honest thoughts!
So here we go...

For those of you that know me... and those that don't this is my little statement about short books.... I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that - short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. So with that said.... here is my review...

Oh wow.... Oh wow... This is one fire explosive story. Ms. Julian did it yet again with another hot story. She has a way with her craft and she uses it well. This woman has wrapped me up in a story that I hope will not stop. She allows terminology to flow through the book (so you are not stopping to check out what that means) and she treats us to characters of the past and invites new ones into the world of the Lucani family.

Evie has a seriously crappy past... We met her in the past books; but you won't be left out if you did not read them. (That is another great job by Ms. Julian ~ never leaves you feeling like you are missing something) Evie has a heart the size of Texas. Okay, as long as you get my point there. Evie was kidnapped and used for her blood. Yes, you read that right... they syphoned blood from her and was basically keeping her alive to produce her blood. Her blood is the secret ingredient to one little boy's life. But once freed, you would think that she would want nothing to do with the little boy or his mother (the one that kidnapped her). But... That is where Evie will surprise you... Now, there is another matter at hand... Her heart and her powers...
Will Evie's heart allow her to accept what two people are willing to give her or will her uncertainty over her powers cause her to go up in smoke?

Dane has one major stick up his ass... And sometimes all it takes is his best friend Ryan to remind him to pull out and stop acting like the ass Ryan's knows him not to be. Dane is set on finding a cure for the disease that seems to be plaguing the Lucanis. The same disease that took his father from him. But what will it cost him? When all else fails, he ask his best friend to step in for him and help him out... But what if what Ryan wants threatens to consume the both of them to the fiery pits of Evie?

This is one story that heat up your sheets and catch your heart ablaze! This book will leave you hot and possibly other things you might not want me to mention and for sure... she will leave you drooling over the hot alpha males and their best friend... And she will definitely leave you hanging on to what is to come in the future. Awesome job Ms. Julian!!!

  7. Awesome review...sweetie...

O.K., you've got me wondering. What is it about her writing (the craft part) that manages to capture you...obviously she can tell one heck of a story and doing it that short of space takes a major talent but what craft was makes her so talented ... what do you think it is about your style that does that?

    Hugs
