*Author Interview/Tour Wide Giveaway* Forever: The Dragon Wars by Rebecca Royce *Goddess Fish Tours*

Forever: The Dragon Wars
by Rebecca Royce

Devin Owen has come back from the Dragon Wars a changed Werewolf. For one thing, he's lost his wolf side as well as most of his desire to live. He spends most of his life doped up to handle the pain from his injured leg.

Lena Knox knew the moment she met Devin that he was her mate. But, she'd been a child at the time and he hadn't noticed her at all. Now, all grown up she wants Devin to be the wolf she’s waited for. Not that she has a lot of time for longing with life crumbling around her.

A couple of heated encounters draw them together but is it enough to overcome the war wounds they both carry? Or will an outside enemy destroy them before they get the chance to know?

Ladies and Gents... I am pleased to say that Ms. was kind enough to sit down with me for a spell...
I hope you enjoy her interview half as much I enjoyed asking her the questions!

Why don't you tell us a little about yourself.... Something that we cannot Google about you, lol!

Something you can’t google about me, huh?  Well, I’m a video game nut. I tend to get a little obsessed about completing them.  Like writing for me.  I need to start what I finish. LOL

Tell us a little about your book?
Forever is the story of Devin Owen. He’s a Wolf and he’s just come home from The Dragon Wars.  He encounters a woman who swears he’s her mate but he knows that can’t be the case.  How can there be Forever when there is nothing left?

How much emotion does it take from you to write?
A ton.  I’m pretty wiped at the end of the day

What is your favorite part of the book?
I always love the happy ending. In all my books.

You can only pick 3 words for your main characters..what would they be? *to describe your main characters*
Stubborn. Sensual.  Misunderstood

Which was the easiest character to write and the hardest ~ and why??
They took turns.  They both made it hard and easy at various times.

How many books are you shooting for in this series??

What are you currently working on?
The last Westervelt Wolves book.
Do you have anything due to release soon?
I have a bunch of things waiting for release dates.  But nothing I can announce at the moment

What's one thing that you enjoy about writing?
How different every book is.  Its never the same.

Since we're cover hussies....what was your first impression of your cover?
Wow! He is Hot.  I’m serious. That’s what I thought.

What do you prefer ebooks or paperbacks?

Is there a genre you would like to write but are a little apprehensive to try?
Historical. I don’t dare it. I have a book in edits where I went back in history for all of two minutes in it and I was so nervous the whole time. I like authenticity in my historicals.

Okay.... personal time!!!! Oh yeah, I go there... Hahah...

If you thought you were safe... Nah... Forgot it... Not a chance! We will start off slow and easy, I promise!

What is on your night stand/dresser?
A lamp. An IPHONE charger that is also an alarm clock.  Various papers I have to file.

What are you listening to you right now?
My mother talk to her friend. (We’re on vacation at her home right now…)

What are you reading right now?
I just finished the third Stillwater book by Brenda Novak.  And I just read Rapid Dominance by Bella Juarez.  I met her, she’s really nice, at The Naughty Sleepover, which is a conference I went to earlier this year.

What is your favorite season? Holiday?
Fall. Halloween.

And what has been your best b-day present ever??
The birth of my third son. Came right after my birthday. It was like WOOO Happy Birthday to me that is over!

Hard and Quick Time! Don't think... Just answer! Okay, before we go this route, I will get us a refill on our drinks... I will be right back...

The Dragon alarm sounded in the distance. Devin’s whole body tensed. He knew they were false alarms, but they still got him worked up. On the front lines, when that alarm sounded, there was nothing fake about it.

“How long does it usually go on?” He’d been more than just a little distracted the first time he’d heard the shrill, piercing sound. Keeping Lena safe had been the pivotal thought in his mind.

“Maybe a minute.” His father stood up. “I wish they’d stop sounding them. Everyone knows the Dragons never get in this far.”

“Going running tonight?” Devin could hardly think with the Dragon alarm ringing. He wanted to be distracted; he needed his father to speak.

“It’s going on a bit long now.” His dad walked over to the window that faced the street. Devin joined him to peer outside.

A sight tremor overtook his hand, and he put it in his pocket so his dad wouldn’t notice. Why was he so worked up? His nose twitched and he bounced from foot to foot. Where had all of this energy come from?

He swung open the door and walked outside where the alarm sounded louder.

A noise caught his attention over the ringing hell assaulting his ears. He turned in the direction to see Lena tromping down the street. She looked worn out and for a second he wanted to wrap her up in his arms. The woman worked constantly. His heart melted at the sight of her seconds before he remembered his anger.
