Review: Galaxy Girls by Edie Ramer

Galaxy Girls
Edie Ramer

Genetically created to be broodmares, Phyrne Galaxy and her mother, aunt and cousin don’t need men, they need freedom. They escaped from the warring planet of Kergeron to Earth, where Phyrne’s aunt’s vision of winning money in a New Jersey casino comes true. Too bad her aunt’s precog didn’t show the hoods waiting outside with guns. But Phyrne has her own weapon, more powerful than bullets. She’s ovulating.
Phyrne turns up the heat, taking out more than the crooks in her wave of sexual torture. FBI Special Agent Hawk Higgens, running to protect the women, is brought to his knees, too. Caught in her procreative spell, Phyrne ravishes Hawk.
Being seduced by an alien and left half naked and unconscious in the back of a surveillance van changes Hawk’s life. He joins the Foundation, a privately funded agency that hunts aliens. Six years later, the reason for his career change pops back on the radar in a tea shop in Kentucky. The woman whose face still haunts his dreams has an addition to her family – a five-year-four-month-old daughter.
At the same time, two Kergeron warriors are sent to Earth to bring the women back to their home planet. With an ex-FBI agent and two alien warriors on her trail, Phyrne’s calm life running the Tea & Comfort shop is about to get shaken, stirred and screwed.

I obtained the above information from Ms. Edie Ramer's website!

Ms. Edie Ramer is a great author. She is sure to make you giggle and smile as much as fall in love with her characters. She is very crafty with her story lines and character development. Her stories always entertain me. She brings such a sense of humor to her stories that bring them alive.

This story is a little different than the past stories I have read of Ms. Ramer's. As this one is a sy-fy story. When you start reading this story be prepared to venture out of this world. I'm really hoping that this is the start of a wonderful series because Ms. Edie set this up great for more to come.

The story gives you all the background you need to know the who, what, when, where and why's of everyone and still leaves you wondering what will happen to the rest of the gang  We meet Phyrne sister's who are just as bad as Phyrne herself. You learn what family means and just what these women are willing to do to protect their own. We also meet a man name Hawk who will rock Phyrne's world and change the course of her life forever... But what about her heart? Hawk wasn't prepared for the aftershocks of what meeting Phyrne would do to his work either...

Who would have thought once chance encounter with a being from another world would change Hawk's life forever... He would spend the next six years scouring the earth for the one woman who shock to the core and left him with more questions than answers.

This truly is a great story. One that will teach you a few things about the other world and maybe a few things about your own, lol.

On my own note, the names were a little difficult to pronounce, but I kept in mind this is an sy-fy story.
