For those of you that know me... and those that don't this is my little statement about short books.... I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that - short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. So with that said.... here is my review....

I will start this out with this is a collection of short stories about some female love. If this genre is not for you, you will not hurt my feelings if you go no farther. I understand... With that being said... Let's continue please...

This book kinda disappointed me a bit. I am a huge f/f fan and I love most stories out there. But this completion just kinda left me a little deflated. I know it takes all kind of f/f's to make the world go round. And I guess it is more personal preference than anything. And with that being said, I do not want to take away from the book itself. But I was a little put off by some of the stories. Are they well written, yes they are. The just did not interest me in the way I thought.

All stories are separate and no way related to each other. Which is what you would expect. But some left me thinking "WTH" and some I just could not digest what was being said. I know this review is not like me and for that I apologize. Just this book was not meant for me, I think. I hope that if f/f is your main genre, you will give it a try and read it and enjoy it.

The authors in the book are great, but this series just was not for me. And I will not end on a bad note because this is the work of some dedicated authors... I think you all did a great job!

Okay short story aside, this is one awesome story. It is literally non stop... Whether it is with action, suspense or some hot sexual tension or just some plain freaking hot sex with one hellva man. Ms moria kept me on the edge of my seat with this story. And what was a "surprise" to me was the element of steam punk-ish mixed with the paranormal world.

You can almost say this story has it all. One woman determined to save her mentor - sparing no cost. Virtually giving up her own life for his. One bloodhound determined to save them all.

Satira is an inventor's apprentice; but since she is a woman - she will not be recognized as such. I admire her courage to stand up for what she believes in or should I say the people she believes in. Her faith in people runs as deep as the blood in her veins. She is a force to be reckoned with and for that alone I enjoyed her. Not to mention she is truly a kiss ass heroine. Ms. Rogers allowed me to step into the shoes of Satira and take notice of her situation... Satira never felt sorry for herself or pity for the surroundings she was in or never played victim for her past... And that I truly found enjoyable! A woman on a mission and armed and dangerous!

Now on to Wilder... Whoa baby. What a man, what a man... Or should I say what a bloodhound! He turned all the right buttons and hit all the right spots a woman has. He really earned the title Sex on a Stick... Or in his case, I need to say Sex on a Horse... Cuz that is just how he rides! He is a man on a mission... and he is all about completing his mission... at all cost. But I am not sure he expected for his heart to get caught up in this mission. Especially by the tiny but no hold no bars Satira. Can Wilder rein in his emotions before they get the best of him... Or will he show Satira just what he is?

These two explode the scenes with the sexual tension and banter they had together. They had me giggling and stiffling laughter as I would read some of their word exchanges. Ms. Rogers played these two characters very well against (and for) each other. I was not sure at first about the steam-punkish feel to the read, but I truly enjoyed this story and cannot wait to read more about this series ((hint hint, wink wink))! Every page was an adventure to take, every other word was some sort of smart ass remark and then the pages with the hot sex... OMG... you will want to read next to a fan, I promise! Ms. Rogers truly rocked my world and made me want to go back in time to find my own bloodhound! Kicking ass never seemed so naughty!!! Awesome job Ms. Rogers!

Ms. Gina has cranked out another hot little story. She knows all the buttons to push when writing a love story gone hot! =) She just keeps adding to MY To Keep Books... but I promise to share with you guys. This one is for all of you "cold" people... lol. I would say that this one is good to read by a fire... but hell... by the time you read it... you will be on fire!!! Then, to add to her story... she touched on a taboo issue... Work romance! Oh yea... you may not look at your co-worker you have been drooling over the same after reading this story.... Now.. let's continue...

Caroline is an all business, no mixing kinda woman. She does not believe in office romance, she does not even believe in mixing business with pleasure. Nope... not her. She worked to hard to have her career ruined by some fling with a co-worker. But when she is not working... she loves to cut loose! And I have to admire her for cutting lose... She was a tad bit to straight laced for me in the beginning - only because her co-worker is Hayden the Hottie.... I mean come'on.... Just one roll in the imaginary hay with him... But seriously, I knew where she was coming from and I respected her for that.

But on the other hand... Hayden the Hottie... Oh man.. he was a man on a mission. At least he thought he was until he lost something that he knew he could not recovered from... Losing his heart to the one woman capable of breaking it... Even though he was the one set out to breaking her... Hayden won me over and over with his actions... He was just a real stand up guy...

Now when these two get thrown together for a four night/five day retreat for work, they have no choice but to get along. Just how well do they play together depends on how the walls of their personal space falls... I will have to leave you with these thoughts ((only because the book is short and I do not want to give it all away...))... Ms. Gina wowed me with the passion and drive of Hayden. I thoroughly enjoyed how pursuant he was and Caroline gave me a good chase... but with a man as determined as Hayden... Well hell, anyone's wall would fall... or shake... or rattle... Oh yea... This is a hot little story!! Ms. Gina... job well done!!! Now when do I get more.... lol!!!!

I recently watched the movie Speed with my husband for about the gazillionth time and I had forgotten that Jack Traven is the quintessential Alpha Male. Keanu Reeves is perfect in his portrayal of a bomb squad cop, his body buff and his hair buzzed. That white t-shirt and cargo pants just add to the sexy package. Damn that Sandra Bullock was a lucky gal. But I digress.

Okay... Ms Gina is on fire with another freaking hot story. I have to say that this is one hot story with a sweet touch of love in it! Ms. Gina provided me with enough sexual pull that I thought I was going to have to go in the story and kick some ass to make them realize that they were in love! I loved it! This story reminded me of couple of friends that I have... you can see how they feel about each other... but apparently they don't get it till it is almost to late. Ms. Gina.... You rock honey... Oh and I want a job at Bare Naked Designs..... Please?!?!?!!!

Now for the review you came for... I can't give to much away because this is another short one, but let me tell you there is enough kink, a lot of hottness from Alexs and Carrie's lingerie that will scorch the pages. There is enough hot dressing room sex to make you look at the dressing room a little different now... Hell,you might even want to take your better half with you next time you go to that special lady place, lol....

This couple is very dear because they have known each other forever and a day. They practically grew up together... but one problem... Carrie was always the younger sister who loved to tag along... So, being seen as the sexy, attractive woman that she is today ~ well... that proves to be her "almost" undoing...

Let me start off by saying that Ms Eliza had me burning up the ipad in this hot, sweet, sexy and deliciously wicked story. She takes us on a wicked ride of finding lust in all the right places. She explores our secret desires, fulfilles them and makes us take the hope of a life that we keep on a shelf for later in life because we just never think it is out turn in life - dust it off and make it into a reality.

Harper is a year out of a vanilla divorce and knows where her heart lies. On the wicked side of naughty. But finding that one person to allow domination over her is something she is not quite ready for yet.... That is until she has to serve her treats at a club that specializes in her flavor of naughtiness.

Alex sees what he wants and he knows how to get it. This man had me reaming of finding my own Dom to collar me. He was tender enough to be the lover we all have those dreams about but a Dom enough to make you go weak in the knees by the tone of his voice. His addiction to the sweet Harper might prove to be his undoing....

Now let me warn you that this story is about being dominated. If you know you are uncomfortable with that type of story, this one might not be for you. But it is not on the serious side of BDSM that I think would leave you feeling uncomfortable reading it, actually I think quite the opposite would happen. You might like the taste.... Kinda like a cupcake with sex!!

Ms. Eliza treats us to a short story that for sure will make you want to take a trip to your local bakery and.... Bring your man some dessert back!

If you are looking for a quick, hot read, I encourage you to pick up this one. You won't be disappointed. Especially if you like a little BDSM mixed in with your sweet tooth!! I have to say that Ms Eliza knows how to have dessert first!!! A woman after my own heart!
