Natasha slid through the darkness and entered the cold, quiet house. What kind of man arranged to meet for a first date in an old, abandoned mansion? And why did she find that so exciting? She stumbled through the empty shadows, heart pounding, eyes wide. Suddenly, there he was, standing in front of the window, moonlight reflecting off his platinum hair. The most gorgeous man she’d ever seen. A wicked smile curved her lips. She’d hoped the night would prove to be life-changing. Now she ached for much more.

The Review

Now, this is a quickie by all means… It is a very short read… but very hot. Especially if you love a hot quickie with a hot guy!

Natasha was meeting a guy for a hot blind date… what she was not expecting was an “alabaster statue of one of the gods.” man waiting for her in the dark shadows of the empty house.

Enters… Victor. He knew he was meeting a woman for a blind date.. But what he didn’t expect was Natasha!

What I thought was so good about this story was this couple has been together “re-enacting” their first date for 300 years.

Let’s just say that after one read… I wanted more of Victor!!

Now, like I said… a hot quickie… go to The Wild Press and download this one!!! I promise you won’t be disappointed!! Quick fast and hard!!! Sometimes… that is just how we like our men!!! But for my Alpha girls… Victor is an alpha!! Enjoy ladies!!!

Sliding through the darkness, Natasha entered the cold, quiet house. She ran her hand along the side of the wall, found the light switch, clicked it, but nothing happened.

“Hello? Is anybody here?” she shouted.

Her words echoed back to her in the shadowed emptiness. She stood still for a moment, straining to detect any signs of the presence of the man she’d expected to meet there.

He’d sent a note with a black rose attached. Her favorite. Being a punctual sort, she was right on time for what he’d said would be a night she’d never forget.

Holding her hands out in front of her, she inched forward in the darkness, searching for another room where he might be waiting. She shivered with excitement and fear. The man’s note had been so enticing. Asking her to meet him in an ancient, abandoned house seemed adventurous at first. Now she was anxious. But she had told him she liked surprises. Especially wicked ones.

Told in first person by the vampire herself (Zara), this is the diary of an ancient, self-absorbed, yet-amusing nightwalker. She lusts for both sex and blood. Unfortunately, something has gone awry and her normal habits now create new problems to solve. In the midst of sorting things out, she meets an intriguing human named Niven – a musician who lives in the magical kingdom of contemporary Boulder, CO – and discovers that he is much more than he appears to be. Then, if things weren't interesting enough, Zara encounters her old mentor/lover – the vampire who originally turned her – and things get downright supernatural.

The Review

This story is a little longer. But it is still a short story.

It is the year 2160. I know the time threw me off too… but believe me… it’s not futurist or anything like that… Men are still men! Go figure!

So, let me introduce you to She Demon… Her real name is Zarafina of Sherbrook. Zara is the oldest of her kind still playing amongst the petty humans of the world. What is she you might ask… A vampire and she is the oldest one living. She was transcended or born… into the world of darkness on her 26th human birthday. ((Oh and by the way… she is in no way humble about being drop dead gorgeous)). She decided to share with us a journal of her memoirs of her life.

Before she shares with us her memories, she teaches us a lesson or two about undead mythology. She shares with us what the sun really does to them and how drinking our blood is the most intoxicating thing to them.

I really like this part… It is about the “fact” of what the sun does to them. How drinking our blood really is an orgasmic feeling for them; her quote,

“It is divine orgasm“!! She says, “I think you’ve been led astray because we really don’t want you to know what we’ve got going here, because then too many of you would want to join in.”

Now Zara also has a unique ability… we know that vampires are commonly termed “blood suckers”, but her term would be “mind sucker..” When she sucks the blood for her “donator,” she absorbs the memories of the mind. If it goes to far… the “donator” becomes like a vegetable. Not a good thing.

But the story gets better… She meets Niven… whom she is very attracted to…

And he’s very attracted to her… But you will have to read the rest of the story to find out what happens to them… or with them!! ***wink, it is good***
