I was eventually going to get to this genre one day...

Well, I must admit to being a little nervous - especially when I saw the gleam in Mandi's (@ Smexy's Books) eye as to how much fun she had deflowering a couple of fellow bloggers. Then talk turned to it being a public deflowering...
Then talk turned to people screaming!
Then at Leontine's place today (Monday) my dear friend ErotRomReader (Janna) had this to say... --->>>

And I am here to say: I am a Pure Southern girl... and if I live with alligators as my neighbors... Well, then I am tough enough to handle this... I am not afraid!!!!! I have taken the plunge.... And jumped in the deep end... How did I do that you dare ask... I went online tonight with hubby right next to me (okay, so he was on the other end of the couch watching his football game - but still) and bought these delicious books with out the help from anyone! No holding hands... No tears silently streaming down my face.... No screams come from my voice, well maybe in delight... NO nothing. I put on my big girl panties (okay.. maybe not put on panties... the men are that delicious, hee hee) and jumped on in! I hope you enjoy what I have bought!!!!

Monday Mailbox

Okay, so this was not exactly in my mailbox for Monday. I actually bought this ~ this past Sunday. I am really trying to be a good girl with following suit!!! LOL!!! Really, I am! Some times, it just does not work out! Anywho...

Now before I allow you to see my books, I have to say that at Kristie J's - Ramblings on Romance place... she asked us to check out the western genre.... And I wanted to get in touch with this genre since I have never anything western... There was this one book by Sandra Brown I read a long long long time ago... Texas Sage, but I do not remember what it was about, so that does not count and besides I do not own it. So, that does not count. So.... I tried to get in touch with that side... and now I will show you what I happened to hop in my bag all by themselves. (I swear, the books literally were jumping off the shelf and in my bag, I promise!!!)

I went to Wal-Mart and of course I could not pass up


And look what my eyes behold saw on the shelve practically scream my name!!! He so wanted me, I know I am hard to resist, lmao!!!!

Then..... Look what else I found and jumped in my buggie.... Charles... More Charles!!!!! YAYAY!!

Then, I have been seeing this on more than one occasional.... which meant that I needed to get it before it was no longer there.


Then I went to Borders.... and this is what was really (I mean it ~ really they were) jumping in my bag!!! They really wanted to come home with me!!!!

This on I found on sale... Hardcover.... for $2.99.... Yes, $2.99!!! So, of course I was going to get it... I have a little idea as to what it is about... But since the cover has some cowboy hats... I am hoping this counts towards my Cowboy~Western promise to Kristie J!!!


Then I found this one... A dear friend gave me the second one... So, of course I had to get the first one... Just in case they need to be read in order!! Just in case...


Then... these last two... You know I always save the best for last.... Well, let's just say that my inner hussy was freaking yelling at the top of her lungs for these to come home with me!!!!


Especially him.... Oh how I am loving him up... My friend, Mindy, was with me... And she does NOT read books.... she wanted to steal him just for the cover. I told her to buy her own!! HE IS MINE!!!! OMFG!!!!!

Friday Finds ~ Treat To Me!

Now, this was my treat from Borders... I had $5 Borders bucks... and free shipping since I was not going to the store... So, these are the few that I chose!!!!
The first one (Tempt Me Tonight, Toni Blake) is thanks to VampFanGirl for her awesome review!!!
The second one (Right Here, Right Now, HelenKay Dimon) was needed due to the fact that I had all the other ones... I needed this one!
Then the last one (Graceful Submission, by Melinda Barron) was thanks to Book Junkie for such a wonderful review of this book as well.

The first two I found at Wal-Mart for... you read... $4 bucks!!! Besides being $4 bucks, the guys are super hot... so they were bound to wind up in my buggie!!!

Then, when I saw this cover, I knew I just had to have it!!! Need I say more... with the picture and the title... come'on!!I recently went eBook crazy.... *Some of these were free (yay, it was treat day!)*

Some of these are as short as 8-10 pages long and as cheap as $1.99... so I had no choice but to pick them up as well!!

Turn Around Tuesday...

I bet you are wondering why am I calling Tuesday "Turn Around" day...

Well, let me start off by saying that my work computer is as slow as molasses in the winter time!!! And if I even try to get online, it takes F-R-E-A-K-I-N-G F-O-R-E-V-E-R to upload just the home page... So, getting online to see what you guys are up too - is impossible. Then I feel like a smuck, because when I get home, I try to go visit everyone's page... I know sometimes you can't be Superwoman and that pisses me off!!!! Anyway... I feel like I miss you guys so much. Then I am trying to be the good girl and go to bed within a decent hour... (Yea, tell that to the books that are screaming at me to read them!!) So, with all of that... I am trying!!! I have dropped by some of your place's and have to admit that I am little jealous!!!

Won't bored you with all the details from the weekend... but I will share with you... My trip to Borders and Wal-Mart this past Saturday... I could not resist the 5th free book!!! And this is what I walked away with....

This book was actually in the back of one of Lord of the Satyr's Brothers... The book sounded absolutely delicious!!! Could you have resisted... Then for some reason, the next books... I noticed a trend... Ms. Lori Foster's name. I have not read anything by her yet.. I do have one book that I have been trying to get too... but I found these books to hot to resist!!!! Wouldn't you agree....

Then of course when I saw this... I immediately thought of my ladies at Lust in Time!!! How could I have passed this up!!!!
Then I went to Wal-Mart and found these two little gems... And what can I say, I am being sucked into the historcial world... Thanks to Barbara over at Happliy Ever After!

Then I won this precious little book over at Bitten By Books!

Now, if you made it this far with me... I have to tell you that... This is my 100th post!!!! YAYAYAY for me!!! And I have a few new friends to add to that!!

My trip to Wal-Mart....

This is what I got from my trip to Wal-Mart yesterday... I HAD to go grocery shopping... and I could not help but pass by the book section. And since I worked this weekend at Madewood.... I figured I deserved a little treat.... and this is what treat I got...

So... what did you do last night?? Something, nothing... cleaned... clothes.... watched tv... what?!?!?

Mailbox Monday

What is in my mailbox this week.... Well, actually this was a trip to Borders this weekend... and this is what I walked away with... only a few... but I simply had to have this one...

Found out this is a series... and I saw this on the shelf and of course it was screaming that I had to get it, because the other one I bought was #3 and this is #2... you guessed it... now I have to find #1~!

Then, when I started going to Borders, I saw this one and passed it for others. I know... Now, I have read The Vampire Queen's Servant and I really liked the story and this one has been speaking to mind that I must get it... well, after those first few visits it was there... then when I was ready to buy it... you guessed it... it was gone. So, I took that as my sign that it was not meant for me to by at that time... well low and behold, when I went this time... they only had one and it flat out screamed at me to bring it home! So... I did!

What about you... what is in your mail box this weekend or what did you walk out the store with?!?! And how was your weekend!

Mailbox and Shopping

OMG... My Mail-Lady Loves me.... This is what I got in the mail today!!! I won this over at HelenKay Dimon and it finally arrived!!! I am sooooo excited. I thought about making myself a promise that, since I received this package, I would not buy any more books in the month of July... however I am sad to say that with everyone else's mail bag and reviews.... I am dying to get some new books... I will try my hardest!!!

Then I went to Borders the other day... We had an orthodontist appointment... so I HHAADD to go to Baton Rouge anyway... and since I was there... Borders was there too.... and I had some 30% off coupons... I had to go... just to see what they had.... And this is what I walked away with... Yes, I know... very bad!! (I slapped my hand too)
But again... I did get some of these books for $4.00!!!! Like this one...

Then, the saleguys helping me, was of no help, because he kept recommending books to me... like this one. I know I seen this one on someones site.... (yea, getting older is a b*tch) and they really liked it and I bought it... I was kicking myself in the a$$ because I bought it in hardback... but the book was already 30% off, plus I got to use my 30% off coupon on it... So, I was okay.


Then, thanks to Amy C @ Romance Book Wyrm... I had to go get my own copy of this book!! If you have not joined her "book tour" of this book... you need to go to her place and sign up for this one... or better yet... go get your copy of this book!! I promise with my whole heart that you will love this book!!!!

Then, I got these two books with some more 30% off coupons...

Then, I had to go to Wal-Mart for grocery shopping... I saw these two... and thought what the heck...

Now this one seems very funny, because I read the first couple of pages to see if it was interesting and from what I gather it is written from a vampire guys point of view, which I thought that was odd.... and funny at the same time. So I picked this one up!! And as for this one... well, I simply loved the name of the book... Because I would like to think we are Alpha Females!!! So, we shall see!
