My First Ever Book Challenge!


I have never done one of these before... My friend Mandi @ Smexy Books had this up at here place... and it looked like one I could do!!




For this challenge you will need to read seven books in six months. To complete the challenge the title or author's name will need to begin with the letters R-O-M-A-N-C-E and must be classified as a romance novel (this includes as romance sub genre including contemporary, historical or paranormal).







R - Raine - Elizabeth Amber
O - On the Prowl - Patricia Briggs
M -Midnight Cravings - Michele Hauf = double bonus points lol!!
A - Animal Attraction - Charlene Teglia
N - Nicholas - Elizabeth Amber
C - Addictied - Charlotte Featherstone
E - Edge of Hunger - Rhyannon Byrd








The books have to be read from June 1st through November 30th.


Now... if anyone cares to hope aboard.... please feel free...!!!!

    Right now I am doing 2 challenges...The Non Fiction Five and The Southern Reading. I feel somewhat pressured just doing these 2, so I won't add another...but I do like the premise of the challenge. Good Luck and happy reading!

  7. No, I didn't post the list, becuase I don't know yet! I just posted the blog post so I could do Mr. Linky. I think I'll add the books as I read them, rather than pre-selecting. I dont do well when I make a list and try to read from it!

  8. Nope, but I came to think of something and found that I have a book by a woman with the last name Nunn...so she can be my maybe cos had not planned to read it. Must go through the books left at my parents this weekend :)

  9. Good Luck with your Challenge Cecile! I have a hard enough time choosing which book to read next, much less choosing what to read over the next several months. I'd fail horribly I'm afraid.

  11. Well... it makes me committ to what I will be reading ~ which is a plus... helps to tackle the TBR pile... yea right.. only to go buy more books this weekend (Got my first ever $5 coupon from Borders)! Which I did last weekend and I still need to post those books!! LOL!!

  13. Hey Lea!! You have till November... that is one reason why I took this challenge.. I figured on a good day.. I use to read a book in a week or two (who am I kidding... if it is hot.. in a night or two)... but to read and review... well... But I have till November!!! Why don't you try it!
    I am tagging my angel as my symbol for this challenge... he will be my MOTIVATOR!!! He will help me in those long nights **wink**

  16. I am so making my list tonight and checking it twice. 7 books in 6 months not difficult considering I read at least one a week. I may have an issue sticking to the reading order, however I am up for the challenge. I am going to post my list of books tomorrow. Good luck to all.

  23. Hey Mandi ~ I know... I was going through some of the letters and some of the books I have are like #2 or 3 in the series and I have not read one yet... So, I was shaking my head to those!! LOL!! I think it is cool how we found different books to read.. I mean, I know there are a lot out there... but still.. that is what's cool about all this!!!
