Mailbox Fairy Loves MEEEEE!!!!

Okay~ I have been waiting for what feels like FOREVER for my copy of Stranger by Megan Hart to arrive in my mailbox.... And it is finally in my little hands!!!!!!! *well, actually it is home and I am at work**
I had to put Jacob by Jacquelyn Frank on the side, start I could start reading Stranger (I had only read chapter one of Jacob). I did read the first chapter at lunch and almost chocked! It was really good. *didn't know if my heart would actually beat properly again* Work sucks... it interrupted my reading time!! Don't they know I have better things to do with my time than work!!! lol!!! (Actually I love my job.)

But I have a confession to make:

I think the reason I got it today was because I did a little magic. I have been waiting like a good little girl for the mail to deliver it to me... I even sprinkle fairy dust on the damn box! Well, one night I had my cookie treat... but instead of one (like I am suppose to have); I had two. I think I pissed off the fairies by eating their cookie! So, last night I baked fresh chocolate chip cookies myself and left them the whole damn thing!! I also threaten them with laxatives in the cookies tonight if I did not get my book

***And guess who won*** haa haa! I love making myself laugh!!!

  1. I hope you enjoy 'Stranger' Cecile! It was one of my top reads for 2009. I LOVE Megan Hart. Have you read 'Broken' by chance? Really, REALLY good read by Hart.

Oh, I know. I also have so much better things to do than work. Like read. :)

  2. Hi Cecile!

Don't you just the mail fairies when they get it right! (You know what a fan of fairies I am!)

All you have to do is say 'I do believe in fairies, I do, I do!' lolol

    Congrats and good reading!

    Dottie :)

  3. No, I have not read Broken yet, but it is on my wish list. Does Broken follow Strangers or is a stand along book? Because if I need to get that one next, I will have to order it now. See... it's all about that damn Proceed to checkout button!!!

  4. Thanks Dottie... I promise I was not going to hurt them... Just give them something extra in the cookies - that's all!

But I beleive or I wouldn't have given them ALLLL of my cookies!

  5. No, 'Broken' is a stand alone. They all are really. However, there is some character reappearences for instance Sam, hero of 'Stranger', is Dan's brother, hero of 'Dirty'. Sadie, heroine of 'Broken', is Elle's psychologist, heroine of 'Dirty'. You can read the novels in any order but like I said, you'll just see past character reappearances. If you were to read them in some order it would be: 'Dirty', 'Broken', then 'Stranger'. But again, they're all stand alone novels.

    Wow, hope that wasn't confusing...

  6. No that wasn't confusing... but damn.. there goes my OCD with the in order thing!!! ***breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out, I can do this***
So now I will be buying Broken and Dirty! My checkbook is really going to hate me now! I am not even worried about hubby!

  10. VampGirl... It's okay. The OCD comes out *frowning a little due to the fact that I am a control freak* I will still continue to read Stranger... I will just have to go in search of the other two and buy those **checkbook hating me** But hey... I try to tell hubby to look at it this way... at least I will have a home library in the NEAR future! Especially daughter likes to read too and her room is just about as full as mine is with books.

That shall be my first review... Stranger. Now I have never done that before, so I am not quiet sure what I am suppose to do... but hey we'll figure it out together!

Blanche, you may want to open it up now and at least read the first chapter... if you are NOT hooked by then... well... **smiling**

Lea, thanks... I will definitely let you know. PS How is Ms. Tori doing?
