I recently reviewed her book (my link) and was deeply touched by it. I invited Ms. Kitty here to tell us more about whatever she wanted to... Her book, her life, her dreams and kinks!
Let's see if she has in her to get smutty with us!
Now before I allow her the floor, I found out these little details about her from Amazon.....
Kitty Thomas is the author of dark erotic tales which challenge the reader to look at things from a different perspective, leaving "right and wrong" at the door in the interest of exploring the psychology of ownership.
Her writing could be classed as "literary erotica," "dark erotica," or "psychological erotic thrillers." Those used to reading BDSM erotica with "safewords" may not be comfortable with the subject matter of this fiction.
Now that we have formal introductions out the way... Welcome to the Hussy Lair Ms. Kitty!I trust you are doing well. Would you care for something to drink?
**Nathan, can you please get Ms Kitty her choice of beverage**
He is a charmer Kitty... watch yourself...
*Kitty... Here.. **Snap Snap** Focus.. Here...*

*Kitty... Here.. **Snap Snap** Focus.. Here...*
K:hehe. I'm not scared of him. He has a blindfold on. Though he is rather pretty. He's kind of got a submissive look to him though, and I really don't like that in a man.
Besides the little info we got from Amazon, why don't you tell us a little about yourself.
Kitty, if we googled you whats the weirdest thing we'd find?
K: There is nothing weird to find on Google. I was careful. And I had people whacked. :P
Oh wow... making notes... Don't get whacked once I reveal all I know, lol!
Some of my fellow readers read my review of your new book; but for those that may be new here today, would you like to tell us about Comfort Food?
K: Sure! Comfort Food is about a woman who has some repressed kink who is kidnapped by a man who in another set of circumstances would be her every fantasy. The problem is that he's kidnapped her and locked her in this cell and she has no idea what he's about. Obviously there is a very strong chance he's a psycho, given that he's locked her in what is basically a sensory deprivation tank.
At first her biggest fears are that he'll torture her, kill her, rape her. But then that doesn't happen. What happens instead is that he uses her deep need for social interaction to get her to consent to everything he wants to do to her. And he refuses to speak to her, so the only way she can truly communicate with him is through touch. She does consent to everything since punishment is being left alone in the cell without his presence, something that becomes increasingly upsetting to her. I still definitely don't consider it a consensual story. She didn't consent to being there in the first place.
The book is basically about this emotional journey she takes and who she becomes as a result. One of the key questions beyond the sexual parts, is "Who is your Master?" In my opinion we are all owned by someone or something. And Emily's decision comes down to, "Do I want to be owned by the whole fucking world, or by just one man". Personal ownership or impersonal? The book also expresses some things about the modern therapy culture that I think are worth taking a look at.
One of the things that a lot of readers have been afraid of is that the book would be too "brutal" or too much for them to handle. Any readers who are expecting a lot of physical violence or some type of brutal rape ... that doesn't happen here. Comfort Food was a hard book to write. It drained the fuck out of me writing it, but it was worth it. I think it may be a hard book for some people to read, but if you can trust me, I'll take you for a ride you won't forget.
First tell us if you had any say in the cover choice?
K: Actually, I'm an independent author, so I had full control over the cover. I designed it, in fact. I've got a pro artist who'll be coming in to design the cover for the print release, though. It'll be this same basic look with the same image, but it'll pop a little more.
I thought it was very striking and fit the story well, what do you think?
K: I agree, I designed it. :P I couldn't believe my luck when I found that image (yes I used it legally). I think it really expresses Emily's predicament and just her utter despair at the situation she's faced with.
What made you decide to write about this topic?
K: Story of O is a book that really moved me. It's another erotic story of nonconsent. It was a book that made me angry initially when I read it, but I kept going back to it. Then I read some other books that were more like erotic thrillers and I just really wanted to write something like that. Something dark and maybe outside of people's comfort zones, that made people think, maybe made them angry. I wanted to engage reader's brains as well as their nether regions. I wanted to write something that was more literary and less about "just" being spank material
Are you currently working on anything now?
K: Yes, I'm working on my next book, Guilty Pleasures. It's twisted as well and deals with ownership yet again in a morally bankrupt way, LOL. I'm worried some who love Comfort Food may hate Guilty Pleasures, but I'm really hoping that I can pull it off in the execution so I can get people to trust me and go along for the ride. It is, after all, fiction. No actual women were harmed in the making of the book. And again, it won't be "brutal" in the way some might expect. The intention is to seduce the reader to go along for the ride, not appall and horrify them so much they won't get me a chance to tell the story. :)
Anything you can tell us about??
K: About Guilty Pleasures? Well, let's put it this way... Comfort Food makes it hard to look at Chicken Noodle Soup the same way again... Guilty Pleasures does that with massage. :)
If I was go in house, to the side of your bed.... on your night stand... What would I find?
K: I don't actually have a night stand. Which is kind of weird, probably. I never really thought about it until just this moment.
My favorite time... You wanna...
You know you do... Quickie time... Think fast....
Are you a quickie kind girl? Yes
Dark or Milk Chocolate? Dark, especially melted.
Straight up or with a twist - sex? Twisted
What's ur fave drink - in a glass or on him? haha No comment. ;)
Spank or Flogger? Flogger
Junk or Health Food? Health (or at least that's what's on the menu currently.)
Ties or Chains? Neither. Leather cuffs with the fleece lining.
Soft or Hard... Bed, where was your mind? *HA* I was going to say "It only works when it's hard" but ... soft if it's a bed. Though hard is really better for your back.
Control or Be Controlled? Be controlled. But only by the right person. I'm most definitely not a "submit to just anyone" type of girl.
Hot Wax or Whip Cream? Wax
I have to applaud you Ms. Kitty, you seem to have made it through the day in the hussy lair without blushing too much, lol!
K: How do you know I didn't blush? Do you have cameras in here? :P
I have eyes every where Ms. Kitty... That is a hussy's job!
