Discover your inner
bad girl, and set her free…
Heather Pierce is done

anonymous unless she chooses otherwise, she can become someone new. When a man

takes charge of what she wants, secretly fearing he won’t desire the real
person she’s desperate to hide.
Top acquisitions

deal of his career. But then he meets Heather at a speed dating event…and
discovers losing control may be exactly what he needs. Her blossoming
sensuality occupies his every thought, consuming him with the need to possess
the most intriguing lover he’s ever encountered—until he walks into the
boardroom and sees Heather on the other side of the negotiating table.
Short promo description:

at the door, Heather Pierce attends a speed dating event pretending to be
someone new. Someone dominant.
Little does she know, the larger than life man whose world she rocks is
incognito himself, and he isn’t about to let the mysterious vixen slip through
his grasp.

Ladies and Gents of the Lair, please put together a warm hussy welcome for a new to me author... Let's welcome...
Ms. C.J. Ellisson
Since you are a new to me author, I am hoping to bring you to the light of
others! So let’s share!
Thank you! And
thanks for having me. You look like you have a lot of fun questions line up.
Why don't you tell us a little about yourself.... Something that we cannot Google about you, lol!
Why don't you tell us a little about yourself.... Something that we cannot Google about you, lol!
Well, let’s see…
I’m pretty open online about my journey to writing and my severe health issues,
so I bet all that stuff is all “google-able”. The basics are pretty average—I’m
a full time writer, two kids, a loving husband whom I still want to jump his
bones, two dogs, a cat, and two bearded dragons (laid back lizards). Before I
became a writer I was on the verge of getting my contractor’s license (to work
in conjunction with my Realtor license and property management company) and was
training my dogs to be therapy animals. Contracting Lyme, Rocky Mt Spotted
Fever, Murine Typhus, Bartonella Hensalae on top of fighting four auto-immune
diseases that were doggedly trying to shut my body down, literally changed my
entire life. But, those issues brought me to writing, so perhaps everything
happens for a reason.
Tell us a little about your book?
Tell us a little about your book?
It’s a light BDSM
discovery story. Two people falling in love, who learn about themselves, what
they want in life, and uncover their hidden sexual desires along the way.
How easy does the story come to you?
Every story is
different. I started Vanilla on Top
last May, took some time off for several work trips during the summer, and then
came back to finish it in August and September. Not bad overall.
What is your favorite part of the book?
The spanking scene.
It’s when Tony realizes who is actually in control and he works to change
things so Heather can find the pleasure he’s discovered.
You can only pick 3 words for your main characters…what would they be? *to describe your main characters*
For Heather:
Insecure, resilient, determined.
For Tony:
Successful, confident, unfulfilled.
Which was the easiest character to write and the hardest ~ and why??
I alternate POVs in
all my books. The easiest characters to write are the women, and the hardest
are the men. I have my husband read the male POVs to make sure I didn’t write
them like chicks. He gives me gentle guidance and insight into how the male
mind works. Priceless.
How many books are you shooting for in this series??
Three are
contracted in the Brazen line, with different couples in each. Tony and Heather
really stuck with me and I plan on two more books in their ongoing story and
developing relationship. Unfortunately, I can’t write the sequels until I get
the other contracted books finished. My publisher has expressed interest in the
rest of Tony and Heather’s saga, but if they decide to pass I will publish them
on my own.
What are you currently working on?
The second book in
the Wild Side series, currently unnamed. It’s Carla’s story of finding love.
Do you have anything due to release soon?
Yes, I have a
prequel story written at reader demand for my sexy vampire series, the V V Inn.
Death’s Servant is Jon’s tale and should come out in March if I can meet my
other deadlines.
What's one thing that you enjoy about writing?
Sharing the story
in my mind with readers. To hear that they feel like they are right there when the action happens
makes me feel like I’ve done a good job as a writer.
What do you prefer eBooks or paperbacks?
eBooks! I love my
Kindle.
Is there a genre you would like to write but are a little apprehensive to try?
Nope, I’m not
apprehensive about trying another genre. The biggest fears I had were whether I
could pull off a believable romance that didn’t fit the cookie-cutter mold. I’m
not a fan of the predictable break up scenes at the 90% mark and the magic
get-back-together moment in the remaining ten percent.
I’ve already
plotted and started a middle grade fiction book for my kids, just pitched a new
adult series to a comic book artist I hope to work with, and have plans to
write a children’s book revolving around our fluffy black cat. The kids books
will be under another pen name and I think I’ll release the new adult book
under this name – still haven’t decided all the details as I have yet to write
the books!
Okay.... personal time!!!! Oh yeah, I go there... Hahah...
Okay.... personal time!!!! Oh yeah, I go there... Hahah...
Go for it! I write
sexy stories, I can handle anything. ;-)
If you thought you were safe... Nah... Forgot it... Not a chance! We will start off slow and easy, I promise!
What is on your night stand/dresser?
If you thought you were safe... Nah... Forgot it... Not a chance! We will start off slow and easy, I promise!
What is on your night stand/dresser?
A lamp, a water
glass, my thyroid meds, tissues, and two batter-powered pillar candles that
give off just the right amount of flattering glow for romantic encounters. ;-)
What are you listening to you right now?
This exact moment?
The soft ran falling outside my window. It’s very peaceful.
What are you reading right now?
The first Jane
Yellowrock story, Skinwalker, by
Faith Hunter. I’m about halfway done. It’s pretty freakin’ awesome so far.
What is your favorite season? Holiday?
Fall. I love the
leaves changing, the bite of cold in the air, and Halloween!!
And what has been your best b-day present ever??
For my fortieth
birthday we went on a cruise. I had difficulty going on excursions due to my
health, and I wasn’t allowed to eat anything off the boat due to my compromised
immune system, but damn, it was so nice to get away and relax kid-free! On the
actual day of my birthday we were in Roatán, off the coast of Honduras, and
spent most of the time in a bar (where my drinks came from bottles). Nice!
Hard and Quick Time! Don't think... Just answer! Okay, before we go this route, I will get us a refill on our drinks... I will be right back...

Make mine a
Magner’s, please (best hard cider, ever)
You know you do... Quickie time... Think fast....
Are you a quickie kind of girl? As long as everyone leaves happy I don’t think duration should be a factor.

Dark or Milk Chocolate? Dark, baby!
Whipped or Melted? Uh… what are we asking? I lost my train of though there.
Straight up or with a twist - sex? Both! Variety is the spice of life.
Straight up or with a twist - sex? Both! Variety is the spice of life.
What's ur fave drink - in a glass or on her? Umm, I don’t really care to drink
off a woman, but I have no problem objectifying a man and sucking a shot off
his rock hard abs. But if we don’t have six pack abs around, I’ll take a glass,
please.
Spank or Flogger? Spank! The flogger doesn’t really sting enough.
Junk or Health Food? While I love junk, in all its forms, I follow doctors
orders as much as I can, which means healthy (damn).
Ties or Chains? Ties (or even better: Velcro cuffs). Chains are rather unwieldy
and can pinch.
Leather or Lace? Depends on the mood, both have their time and place.
Soft or Hard... Bed, where was your mind? Firm, baby!!
Control or Be Controlled? Again, depends on the mood. I’d say
I’m a switch.
Hot Wax or Whip Cream? Not really into either, but I can say I’ve used whip
cream more often.
Vampire or Werewolf? Vampire! No contest. Although, I do like me some hunky
werewolf in the form of Alcide. That man is walking sex.
Twitter and/or Facebook? Facebook all the way. I have a harder time connecting
with readers on Twitter, most of them are on Facebook.
Pinterest or not? I’ve been told I need to try it, I’m resisting as I see it as another shiny thing to distract me from writing!
