*Blog Tour* Country Mouse by Amy Lane & Aleksandr Voinov *Riptide Publishing*

Country Mouse by Amy Lane and Aleksandr Voinov

Owen may be a bit of a country mouse, but he’s loving his vacation in London. After a long day playing tourist, he’s on the hunt for some cheap beer and a good burger. Instead he finds a man hunting him, an arrogant prick with only one thing on the brain: the kind of meat that doesn’t come on a bun.

Eighty-hour weeks at a trading desk don’t leave Malcolm Kavanagh much time for meaningful relationships. Besides, in his world, everything’s a competition—even sex. When his newest one-night-sub fails to show, Malcolm sets his sights on the pretty young Yank on the bar stool beside him.

Owen’s all for an adventure with a native, but he’s not the pushover Malcolm thinks he is, and Malcolm’s not as shallow as he tries to be. They both soon learn that nothing's too intimate to share with a stranger, and the strangest things happen when two people share the most important pieces of their hearts.

I obtained the above information from Riptide Publishing website.

Now, I am pleased to welcome Amy Lane and Aleksandr Voinov to the lair to talk about their book!

While Amy and I did share the characters and so it’s not completely clear-cut who wrote which character, I guess I can’t deny that Malcolm in Country Mouse is more “my” character.

For a long time, I’ve had a fascination with City boys. I was a financial journalist for about four years and have encountered a number of pretty colourful people. The banker who invited me to his private club for an interview and just waved at the bartender to put our drinks on his tab (the place had a huge flatscreen running sports at half past eight in the morning, wood panelling and antique furniture); the corporate lawyer who spoke of sleeping under his desk the night before the deal was finalized and shaving on the office toilet; the financial investor who, without a hint of irony, called himself a “master of the universe” (this was pre-2008/9, when all his deals exploded).

There’s something about that ego and brashness that I find fascinating. Many of these people are charming and draw you in. For a while, you believe you are inhabiting their world – then they casually drop a mention of their yacht or jet or owning a place on the Maledives, and you realize in their world you’re just a peon.

So, big egos, big numbers, big paycheques and generally a totally different world. As a journalist I resolved two things: one – I can only get their life if I accept it has very little to do with my life, and two – in order to achieve their positions, they have to be a certain type. Extremely smart, extremely hard-working, and they sacrificed a great deal to get where they were when I interviewed them. Family life. Hobbies. Hell, even sleeping in. There’s this saying in investment banking – and I borrowed it for Malcolm – that there’s an unspoken deal: You give the bank the ten best years of your life, and in return, you walk away with a few million in the pocket.

Obviously, with the crisis and all, nothing is quite as casual and clear-cut as it was. For one, bankers (or “banksters”, as the media used to call them) are now almost as dirty as serial killers. They did sink the economy, after all. And I bet the guys I talked to – if they still have jobs, because many don’t, some retired, others changed careers, like the senior banker I met in Germany one evening, who is now helping his father run his transportation company – I bet they are genuinely hurt by the bad press. Also, their bonuses have been cut. Some made very little money (by their standards – normal mortals can’t dream of six-figure bonuses – but if you’re used to seven figures and were “banking” on it, I bet that grates).

What I’m saying is – all the brash and ego I encountered can’t disguise that I really liked some of those
people. It also doesn’t disguise that they made a deal with the devil. Ten years of your life for a few millions and financial security. Since none of us really knows how many years we have to spend, I always figured it’s a risky proposition at best, and if the devil gave me the same choice, I likely wouldn’t take that offer. (It would mean ten years of not writing and sacrificing everything else, too). Now, there’s an idea for a story – the Devil and the Banker.

But yeah, that’s at the heart of Malcolm. Here’s a financial guy who suddenly realized that, hey, stop, his life’s on autopilot and there are Other Things out there he could do. Have a relationship, hobbies, a personal life – what an outrageous idea.

Review: Resistance: Power Play by Cat Grant & Rachel Haimowitz

Power Play: Resistance
Author: Rachel Haimowitz & Cat Grant

Give me six months, and I'll give you the world.

Brandon McKinney has scraped and sacrificed for what little in life he’s ever had. Though it’s been fifteen years since he escaped his father’s abuse, the damage remains. Trust seems as far out of reach as his dream of becoming an architect, and though he’s come to accept being gay, he can’t deny the shame and confusion he feels at other urges—the deeply-repressed desire to submit.

Jonathan Watkins is a self-made Silicon Valley billionaire whose ex-wife took half his money and even more of his faith. Comfortable as a Dominant but wary of being hurt again, he resorts to anonymous pickups and occasional six-month contracts with subs seeking only a master, not a lover.

When a sizzling back-alley encounter cues Jonathan in to Brandon’s deep-seated submissive side, he makes the man an offer: Give me six months of your life, and I’ll open your eyes to a whole new world. Brandon doesn’t care about that; all he wants is the three million dollars Jonathan’s offering so he can buy the construction company he works for. But he soon learns that six months on his knees is no easy feat, and shame and pride may keep him from all he ever wanted—and all he never dreamed he had any right to have.

I obtained the above information from Riptide website.

For those of you that know me... and those that don't this is my little statement about short books.... I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that - short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. So with that said.... here is my review...
Also, I will leave you with the warning that this is a m/m book/review. If m/m is not your cup of tea... or if you are not sure this fits in your comfort zone, you will not offend me if you if you just stop by to say Hi!

I was given this book for my honest thoughts about this book... So here goes!

Okay... Where do I start. First let me say that I am not new to the author's from Riptide Publishing house. They all rock... But these two ladies... Wow. This was great. Normally I would put my own thoughts at the end of the review of the book, but this story is so powerful that I feel like I have to tell you now... The reason is because most of you that I know do read m/m... and most of you read bdsm.... But I wanted to give you a warning and I don't mean this is oh no don't read this book.. I want to warn you for those of you that read fluff bdsm... You know spanking, toys, dom/sub... Those stories are hot and awesome and just a bit of the dark side to make you feel naughty.... But this book.. One word can describe this book - INTENSE!

This book will suck you in *no pun intended*, chew you up... and then spit you out to do it all over again. You will see what you think is a dominant man, Brandon, who meets the man of the hour... Or should I say the man of the alley... Brandon sees something in this man that he wants more of... Or does he. Brandon, Bran as he likes to be called, has a past that will shock you to your core. What you will not feel is pity for the man. He has not played the victim of his life. No sir, he wouldn't say that he has made something of himself, but he would say he got there all by himself. But what he gets from this man will forever change his life... The future that Bran sees just might not be the future he gets... Signing on for a deal like the one Bran signs up for might cost him more than his life.....

Jonathan is very intrigued by the man that has captured his eye... He has studied him, investigated him and in a way - stalked him... Like prey. But what Jonathan did not count on was this man possibly capturing his heart. Jonathan is a sadistic dominant man. Pure dominant. There is no give with Jonathan, you get what he wishes to give to you when he wishes to give it to you and if you argue with him... Well, you just might find yourself strapped to St. Andrew's cross being caned... Or much worst. Pain is a pleasure to Jonathan... Something he thinks Brandon craves - secretly of course. But Jonathan wants to bring all of Brandon's demons to the surface so Brandon can break to become the man Jonathan knows is under that facade Brandon hides behind. But in breaking Brandon... Jonathan just might break himself... At what point is enough truly enough...

This was on of my hardest reads only because I personally have never read anything on the darker side of the bdsm world. I was/am a fluff reader and I can admit that. You know what your comfort zone is, you know if you are willing to let someone push you to a limit you never knew was there... This book (if you are not use of the darker side of bdsm) will push you out of your zone. If you are looking for a sweet, spanking romance... Please do not read this book. I am not trying discourage you from reading this, I just do not want you pointing fingers to the authors that you did not like the book because it was not something you would normally read. I want you to.... savor this book. It is a story to stick with you. Hell, it will stick with you. You will think of this book after you finish it... And I was sooo happy to know their story continues in a few months.

This story is excellently told.... Intense, I already said.... Bold, hard, loving, cold, mean, kind and sadistic. The characters are shown to you in a way that you will feel their past, live their present and crave to see their future. This story was compelling in many ways... Ladies, I have to say you two did a wonderful job at delivering us the story of Jonathan and Brandon and I cannot wait for more!!!!

Giveaway: The Possibilities of Amy by Jaye Frances

Ladies and gentlemen, I want to you to put together a warm, hussy lair welcome to a wonderful author...

Let's welcome...
Ms. Jaye Frances

Thank you, Cecile, for hosting me on All I Want And More today. I really appreciate the opportunity to give your readers a sneak peek at my new romance novella, The Possibilities of Amy.

In The Possibilities of Amy, David is a high school senior—a normal, unassuming guy, trying to keep hormones and heartache in balance. And until now, neither has presented much of a challenge. But his life changed the day Amy, a new transfer student, walked into his English class. Even though he’s made up his mind that she’s the love of his life, he’s the only one who knows it. Too shy to approach her, he keeps his feelings a secret, hoping fate or destiny, or a new seating chart, will bring them closer together. But his buddies have noticed Amy, too. And when David finds out about their plan to see who can be the first to seduce her, he is forced into taking action—and a leap of faith—with his new romantic interest.

Here’s an excerpt:

Suddenly she was pushing back, resisting.

“What’s the matter?”

“Let go for a second. I need to move.”

We were a clumsy tangle of arms and legs as she again turned to face the passenger side of the car. Leaning against me, she arched her body, lifting her bottom off the seat. With a quick tug, she popped the snap on her shorts.

“They’re cutting into me.” She shoved them down a little, just off her hips.

In the flickering light of the movie screen, I could see tiny flashes of her navel, and lower, the top of her pale blue bikinis.

I wanted to tell her how beautiful she was, and how I had never been with anyone like her. But surely others—probably many others—had said the same thing, and I didn’t want her discounting my feelings because I was not the first.

Softly stroking her hair, I lifted the strands with my fingers and kissed her neck, tasting her skin as I slowly worked my way to her shoulder. “Okay?”

“Uh-huh.”

My hands fell lower, skirting the sides of her breasts. The smooth, unmistakable feeling of unfettered skin confirmed the absence of a bra, and I reveled in the soft, supple contours.

Without warning, her hands covered mine. I froze. But instead of pushing me away, she placed my fingers under the elastic rim of her blouse, inviting me to enjoy her firm flesh.

Taking her breasts with determined caution, I circled each nipple with light pressure, feeling them grow hard between my fingers. Even after being granted permission, I touched her like a precious sculpture, overwhelmed with the sensuality and unexpected intimacy of our connection.

She nuzzled against me and I brushed light kisses across her cheek until I heard her release a little half-moan, a sound that seemed to come from somewhere else.

I let her take over, guiding my hands where she wanted them—down her belly to skim the top of her panties with our combined fingertips. Her movements were sure and certain, and it surprised me. Without hesitation, and in a way that told me I had her complete consent, she directed my hands lower.

We approached it together. The area was not just moist, but soaked with the very essence of her. Slipping my fingers from hers, I pulled at the silky material, moving it as far to the side as it would go. The pungent aroma struck me without warning, filling the car, not mixing or blending with the scent of shampoo and perfume, but colliding with it, breaking through, overpowering everything.

Here’s a brief synopsis:

Amy is the ultimate trophy girl—gorgeous face, killer body, and a vivacious personality. But there’s something else about her, something that makes her even more special. Amy is new. A transfer student from out of state, she’s starting her senior year without knowing a soul. And that means she’s up for grabs, available.

Infatuated from the moment he sees her, David is determined to meet Amy, and if the fates are willing, to spend the rest of his life with her. But his shyness prevents him from approaching her—until his friends devise a contest to determine who will be the first to prove their manhood by seducing her.

Guest Post: Beneath the Surface by Joya Fields

Thanks very much for hosting me today on All I Want and More Books to chat about girlfriends and friendships. I’ve been lucky enough to have lots of girlfriends in my life. Through my school years, I had what I’d consider close friends, but never a best friend. I envied girls who were so close that everyone knew instantly that they were “besties.” I also came to realize that the reason I was never drawn to that tight of a girlfriend relationship was because I had built-in best friends: my two sisters.

My sisters and I are close in age—one is two years younger, and the other five—and the age difference disappeared once we became adults. However, I must admit, I am still the bossy older sister. Since they’re both taller than I am, I don’t think I intimidate them much, though.

We’ve done some really cool things together, and I think it’s the sort of things that besties do. First and foremost, we’re there for each other for the happiest of times, and the toughest of times. We offer a shoulder to cry on, a hug when things are rough, and a high-five and girl’s night out on the town to celebrate the great stuff.

There’s something about the support of sisters, too. An unconscious connection. My sisters are both runners, and talked me into trying it out. Before long, we were running races together. My youngest sister always won—she’s speedy. I take full credit for her speed because I think I taught her to be fast by chasing her when we were little.

Then it was my turn to try a marathon. 26.2 miles and a goal of completing it in under four hours. My sister helped me train for months, jogging beside me for hours. When marathon weekend arrived, she got a babysitter for her little girl, traveled to Washington, DC with me, spent the night in a hotel with me to ensure a good night’s rest before the big day, and then cheered me on from different spots along the route. She met me at the finish line with a big smile and a water bottle.

This, I’m guessing, is what best friends do. Share in the journey of an accomplishment, and help celebrate the milestones and victory. Or cry along when things don’t go as planned.

In my debut novel, my heroine, Brooke, heads to Florida to spend time with her best friend, Linda. Two years earlier, Brooke lost most of her leg in an accident, and Linda helped push Brooke through the pain and recovery. After a boat explosion in Florida leaves Linda injured, Brooke cancels all of her plans to be by Linda’s side, and find out who was behind the explosion. Of course, since this is romance, there’s a good-looking policeman involved in the situation, too.

That’s what friends are for, right? They’re by your side at the best of times, but more importantly, they’re by your side at the worst of times too. I’d love to hear about your best friend, what you think is the best part of having friends, or any topic you’d like to discuss.

*Blog Tour* Power Play: Resistance by Cat Grant and Rachel Haimowitz *Riptide Publishing*

I want you all to put together a warm Hussy Lair welcome to two wonderful ladies....
Please welcome Ms. Cat Grant and Ms. Rachel Haimowitz!!!!!

Thank you for joining us on the Power Play: Resistance virtual release tour! *throws penis-shaped confetti borrowed from Anne Tenino* No party is complete without favors, so we'll be giving away winner’s choice of one backlist book from Cat or Rachel to one lucky commenter from this blog at the end of the tour. We'll also be giving away a classic Nook pre-loaded with six of our titles to one lucky commenter drawn from all the tour stops, so follow along and party with us at each--you can earn an entry at every stop!

To help celebrate the release of the kinktastic Power Play: Resistance, the authors wrangled their characters into an interrogation chair for your reading pleasure.

Today we’re talking to Devon Turner, star of such Hollywood blockbusters as They’re Coming for You, Thrill Kill and the upcoming live-action version of Devil May Cry. As some of you may recall, he got his start as a young heart-throb on the 1996 TV series California Dreamin’. He divides his time between Hollywood and New York, where his spouse, Nicky Avery, is currently starring in the Broadway revival of Godspell.

1)    So, Devon . . . where did you & Jonathan meet?

At a Time Magazine Top 100 party, actually. He was 24 and taking the world by storm, just divorced and frankly pretty destroyed by it. I was 29 and fresh off the biggest success of my career. We were both honorees, but poor Jonathan was having a hard time enjoying himself. I suppose I always have been one to bring home birds with broken wings, and God was he ever beautiful—still is, to be honest, and I don’t just mean his body or his face. I had to talk to him.

2)    Jonathan’s spoken of “spending time on (my) knees” – an unusual thing for such a well-known Dom (and sadist!) to say. Can you fill us in on what he meant?

He meant exactly what he said; he and the various floors in my home were quite intimately acquainted by the end of our time together.

3)    Congratulations on your recent marriage to Broadway star Nicky Avery. Can you tell us about some of the unique rewards/challenges of being out of the closet in Hollywood?

Thank you! I’d say the biggest reward and challenge is, well, Nicky, the cheeky little bastard. *smiles* But seriously, the biggest reward is knowing that maybe you’re helping people in some small way. I mean, let’s face it, I have a ridiculous job. I get paid ridiculous amounts of money to do ridiculous things that like as not contribute nothing but a fun 90 minutes to society. Of course sometimes you get to work on a project that feels really meaningful, where you feel like, Yeah, this is important, this matters, but mostly you can’t take yourself or what you do too seriously. But coming out—not just as gay but as kinky and proud—well, I get letters all the time from kids, even adults, saying how that helped them to come out too, to feel better about themselves, to not be ashamed, to not hide anymore. That’s more rewarding than anything I could do on a movie screen, and I feel blessed, quite frankly, that I’m in a position where I can make that sort of difference, however small.

The biggest challenge is the flipside of that coin, of course. Did you know “my people” caused Hurricane Katrina? Because apparently we did. And Nicky and I are the butts of a lot of jokes, many not at all friendly. A lot of people out there think we’re sick—it’s not “bad enough” we’re gay; we had to be “sickos” and “perverts” too—and don’t hesitate to write us nasty notes to let us know. Plus the press is rather endlessly fascinated by what goes on in our bedroom. Not that we ever really talk about that, but it sure as shit doesn’t keep them from asking.

Rachel Haimowitz is an M/M erotic romance author, a freelance writer and editor, and the Managing Editor of Riptide Publishing. She's also a sadist with a pesky conscience, shamelessly silly, and quite proudly pervish. Fortunately, all those things make writing a lot more fun for her . . . if not so much for her characters.

When she's not writing about hot guys getting it on (or just plain getting it; her characters rarely escape a story unscathed), she loves to read, hike, camp, sing, perform in community theater, and glue captions to cats. She also has a particular fondness for her very needy dog, her even needier cat, and shouting at kids to get off her lawn.

*OUT TODAY* Review: Demonically Tempted by Stacey Kennedy

DEMONICALLY TEMPTED
Frostbite Book Two
Release date: April 13, 2011
Self-published

Blurb:

Tess Jennings, now a member of the Memphis Police Department, is on her first cold case. The suspected suicide of Lizbeth Knapp ten years ago isn’t a theory her family accepts—they believe she was murdered.

But the case is only one of Tess’s worries. Ghosts are talking, and word of her abilities rapidly spreads. A dark ghost is terrifying the spirits of Memphis, and she must force the entity to cross over.

Tess doesn’t have to do this alone. Not only does she have her ghost-lover, Kipp McGowen, but the department has brought in a medium. Dane Wolfe might answer all her questions, but he also brings a world of trouble. Will Tess finally have all she’s ever wanted, or will everything she’s vowed to protect be ripped away?

I obtained the above information from Ms. Stacey's wesbite !

I received this book for my honest thoughts and opinions! So, let's get this review started!!!

Okay, first let me say that I have read the first book in this series and absolutely loved it!!! The first story, Ms. Stacey put me in a world of one woman who's world was crazier than anything else I have seen! She put all the right ingredients together to come up with an awesome, kick ass story. As the story continues, Ms. Stacey did not disappoint me at all!!! The woman has a way with her stories and her style is wickedly awesome. The storyline for her Frostbite series just keeps getting better and better. When you start reading this series, I promise you will want to read till the wee hours in the morning... Because it is just that good. I mean, seriously, the woman has drawn me in and grabbed me by the "I need to know NOW," and has not let me go.... Not even after the last page.

And the story continues... Tess thought her life could not get anymore crazier... For Caspers sakes... She talks to ghost on a daily basis and her lover is a ghost. How much more crazier could her life get, really? LOL. But for Tess, its just a walk in the park... Well, she thought it was until she meets a force that she is not sure what it is.... All she knows is that it is scaring the shit out of ghost. And hell, let's be honest, if it scares the shit out of a ghost, what do you think it would do to Tess!! That is when her life takes a complete nose dive...

But she is lucky to have her ghost lover, Kipp with her every step of the way. This is one man... that loves her with all his heart, is passionate about everything and believes there is no doing anything half ass. When you do something, you do it right!!! Everything is all great and dandy until a new man comes into Tess and Kipp's lives.... That is when the world tilts, flips and dips... And everything changes....

Things will never be normal for Tess, but at least she thought she knew what normal was for her... Until Dane walks in and shakes up her world. Wow, could this story get any better! I mean seriously, I am actually at a lost for how to write my thoughts because all I can think to say is::: GO GET THIS SERIES NOW! This is an awesome series! Everything is awesome about this series... The characters are awesome.... Ms. Stacey took the first book in the series and blew it out the water with this one. The drama, suspense and of course the loving is just the right mix... But you might be asking me...Wait, Kipp is a ghost - how the hell... Let me just tell you... Hot sex talk is... WOW with Kipp!

But seriously, Ms. Stacey, you really really really really really left me hanging in this one! I can't believe you would do that to me. I thought we were tight, lol..... I thought you liked me.... How could you leave me hanging like this! But let me tell you people, even though she left me hanging... I be damn if I am not bugging the shit out of her for the next one!!! Which I know, she is working on right now!!!!!

And Elaine, I be damn.... You were right. I explained this book over and over trying to guess what was going to happen in this one... And after my brain storming... You were right!!!!!! You guessed it!!

Review: Dance for Your Sex by Robby Mills *Ellora's Cave*

Dance for Your Sex
By: Robby Mills

Clay Bower has an insatiable appetite when it comes to his sexual pleasures. His women need to be wild and hot with stamina that matches his own. He’s not interested in relationships, now or in the future, and even the sexy banker with the quick blush can’t change his mind—not that she’s made any attempt.

Imagine his surprise when he sees the hot banker on stage, shaking assets she normally keeps neatly covered. Better yet, her attention is solely on him, and when she hops off stage and gives him a personal dance, Clay’s blood boils. Turns out he doesn’t know the woman at all…and she’s willing to teach him a few things.

An EC for Men erotica story from Ellora’s Cave

I obtained the above information from Ellora's website!

So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. This book was given to me for my honest thoughts and opinions. It is also a review for Ellora's Cave.

Ms. Robby Mills is a new to me author. So, I was very thrilled to try my hands at another new author!! Wondering what heights she could take me... And then knowing this is from the line EC for Men, I was really excited to see which way her story would turn out.

I can say that right off the bat, I really enjoyed Ms. Robby's story voice. She drew me in with the man of the story. Mr. Clay..... She nailed all the qualities needed to make a hussy happy with her man. She left nothing to the imagination... Okay, she did leave some things to the imaginations at just the right time... But then she gave me the things I needed when I needed them in spades!! This is one hellva ride you won't want to miss.

I love Amanda... During the day, she is a banker. All serious and dressed uptight. She even rocks the pinned up bun to complete the - I am all business and no play kinda girl.... But I love about her is when she lets that hair hang down and the music comes on.... She really knows how to unwind!

Clay is an all American, all male, all muscle farmer man. Ummmmmm.... Hard work, calloused hands, sweaty body and ummm do I need to go farther. The man only want to have fun.... Nothing serious... He loves sex and is not the least bit ashamed by it. Which is a great thing...

Clay knows Amanda from the bank... His farm is financed through the bank. He knows the all work and no play Amanda... But what he doesn't know is the sex kitten hidden under her bun waiting to let go and purr all night. But what Clay would soon learn is that Amanda is just like Clay... She loves sex and all the pleasures it brings... She just doesn't want anything serious either....

But when they come together for one night of pure, raw sex..... Something happens... Wanna find out what.... Then you have to read it!!

If you want to find out more about Robby, please visit her website! And don't forget to check her out at Ellora's Cave!

Review: Galaxy Girls by Edie Ramer

Galaxy Girls
Edie Ramer

Genetically created to be broodmares, Phyrne Galaxy and her mother, aunt and cousin don’t need men, they need freedom. They escaped from the warring planet of Kergeron to Earth, where Phyrne’s aunt’s vision of winning money in a New Jersey casino comes true. Too bad her aunt’s precog didn’t show the hoods waiting outside with guns. But Phyrne has her own weapon, more powerful than bullets. She’s ovulating.
Phyrne turns up the heat, taking out more than the crooks in her wave of sexual torture. FBI Special Agent Hawk Higgens, running to protect the women, is brought to his knees, too. Caught in her procreative spell, Phyrne ravishes Hawk.
Being seduced by an alien and left half naked and unconscious in the back of a surveillance van changes Hawk’s life. He joins the Foundation, a privately funded agency that hunts aliens. Six years later, the reason for his career change pops back on the radar in a tea shop in Kentucky. The woman whose face still haunts his dreams has an addition to her family – a five-year-four-month-old daughter.
At the same time, two Kergeron warriors are sent to Earth to bring the women back to their home planet. With an ex-FBI agent and two alien warriors on her trail, Phyrne’s calm life running the Tea & Comfort shop is about to get shaken, stirred and screwed.

I obtained the above information from Ms. Edie Ramer's website!

Ms. Edie Ramer is a great author. She is sure to make you giggle and smile as much as fall in love with her characters. She is very crafty with her story lines and character development. Her stories always entertain me. She brings such a sense of humor to her stories that bring them alive.

This story is a little different than the past stories I have read of Ms. Ramer's. As this one is a sy-fy story. When you start reading this story be prepared to venture out of this world. I'm really hoping that this is the start of a wonderful series because Ms. Edie set this up great for more to come.

The story gives you all the background you need to know the who, what, when, where and why's of everyone and still leaves you wondering what will happen to the rest of the gang  We meet Phyrne sister's who are just as bad as Phyrne herself. You learn what family means and just what these women are willing to do to protect their own. We also meet a man name Hawk who will rock Phyrne's world and change the course of her life forever... But what about her heart? Hawk wasn't prepared for the aftershocks of what meeting Phyrne would do to his work either...

Who would have thought once chance encounter with a being from another world would change Hawk's life forever... He would spend the next six years scouring the earth for the one woman who shock to the core and left him with more questions than answers.

This truly is a great story. One that will teach you a few things about the other world and maybe a few things about your own, lol.

On my own note, the names were a little difficult to pronounce, but I kept in mind this is an sy-fy story.

Review: Switch Me Up by Cristal Ryder **Ellora Cave's**

Switch Me Up
By: Cristal Ryder

Steve wasn’t sure how finding a match on a dating site could have gone so wrong—or was it so right? Younger than him by ten years, Clare exudes confidence, sexuality and an erotic allure that leaves no room for misinterpretation. She wants him. And he wants nothing more than to bury himself in her heat. But Clare comes with some baggage. Literally. Once his predatory minx breaks open the suitcase and the toys come out, Steve knows he’s in for the wildest ride of his life.

An EC for Men erotica story from Ellora’s Cave

I obtained the above information from Ellora's Cave!

I have now been picked to review for Ellora's Cave, so I was given this book for my honest thoughts and Review! So, let's get started!

First, let me say that this is part of a new series by Ellora's Cave.... EC for Men line!!! Just wait to see what you will find!!!

Now, secondly... if you come to the Lair often, you will know that I love Ms. Cristal's storytelling. She knows how to heat up the pages, burn the sheets and give me the worst kinda hunger for some kinky, hot loving!!! She can whip you into a frenzy and you would never know what hit you.

This is a short book, so you know what that means... I can't give you too much because it would give it away... So, let's see what I can give you...

This is one hot story... The word quickie describes it quite well... but when you read it and you see the tease that Clare puts Steve through, you might think twice about the word quickie...

Steve was about to find out. He thought he went about it the right way... Putting down his likes and dislikes... Making sure all the right boxes were check... A couple dates for coffee and Steve was kinda sure he found a woman he could be okay with... A nasty divorce would leave anyone hard and Steve was no different... But he was hoping that Clare would be just what he needed to loosen up... And things were going great until Clare pulled her suitcase out and rocked Steve's world...

What was different about this book, Ms. Cristal got inside the mind of the man who thought he was in charge. The story is written from Steve's point of view... and it actually had me giggling thinking of what poor Steve was going through... He just wanted one thing... Or let's say that he only thought he knew what he wanted... Hahahaha... Clare had other things in mind for him!!!

Now, I will say that I did not see the book ending the way it did! Oh no, don't get me wrong, the ending was great... It made me feel like a satisfied hussy left purring in bed.... But, I really thought I would see something else happen... It didn't and I was okay, lol... This was just another awesome QUICKIE story from Ms. Cristal!!!!

What you got next for me Ms. Cristal... You know how to make this Hussy happy!!!!! *evil grin*

Review: Forever In Blue Jeans by Lissa Matthews

Forever In Blue Jeans
Publisher: Lissa Matthews
ISBN:
Genre: Contemporary Erotic Romance
Format: eBook
Length: Category
Series: Blue Jeans and Hard Hats, book 3
Read An Excerpt
Available as an eBook from: Amazon, Barnes and Noble, All Romance eBooks, Smashwords

((To get to these links, please go to Ms. Lissa's website here!!))

One night stands are supposed to be forgettable… But what if the sparks are still flying?

Cort arrives in Blue Ridge with the prospect of a job he can’t resist: the rewiring of a plantation home. Digging into the walls of historical buildings to learn about them from the inside out is a passion he can’t deny. With his mind focused on catching up with his old friends and the challenge of ancient wires, a romantic set up is the last thing he suspects.

And he’s not the only one in the dark…

Blue can’t believe the man pulling to a stop in front of her house is the same man she met in a Savannah riverfront bar five years ago. Heated memories of their one night flood her, but the chill in his eyes remind her of the coward she’d been by leaving while he was sleeping. This time, she can’t escape him or the things he makes her feel. He’s in her space, surrounded by their friends, and every throbbing cell in her body is involved…

So’s her heart.

Angry words, angry sex, good food and cups of strong coffee all washed away by a Southern summer thunderstorm, and the road to forever has taken a turn…

Warning: Between the sheets you’ll find meddling friends, drunk cakes, a corset tattoo, and a Southern plantation. But, what you really need to be on the look out for is a heroine laying siege to a hero with nothing but her sassy mouth holding him against the door…

I obtained the above information from Ms. Lissa's website!

Okay, let me start off by saying that you do not have to read these books in order; it would be nice but Ms. Lissa does an awesome job at putting everyone in the story so you are never lost. Now... Let's get started... Ms. Lissa's writing always get me. She challenges me, she puts me out of the box, she pushes me to think of other things... Her stories are real, her characters will melt you and the endings will make you want to find someone in a pair of blue jeans and.. Well, if I have to tell you what to do with them, you have not done enough homework! =) Ha

Court and Blue's story is about that one night when you meet someone who rocks your world... but you silently slip away... Too scared to face the truth that someone you meet just once can change your life forever...

There story will make you think back to that night when you meet him, saw him across the way... Watching him... seducing him... Then taking him home... Or allowing him to take you home... Only to have that night bite you in the ass a few years down the line...

It is amazing how close your circle really is... When a friend needs a hand, another friend knows someone who knows someone that can help you out... Well, that is what happens with our Court and Blue. She needs help renovating her house and her friends know just the right person for the job. But little do they know about her naughty little secret that long lustful night years and years ago... Not until Court walks to her door and says he is here to help a woman in need.

These two go back and forth and at one point, I wanted to slap them both and wake them the hell up as to what is right in front of them... each other. But sometimes those are the kind of people that just need the extra push, that extra shove... The... "hello are you dumb and blind" speech. But slowly start to see what is in front of them and what is important in life.

It is amazing to watch others fall in love... To watch the relationship go through the phases and these two will give you just that! This is a great story that will definitely leave you Forever In Blue Jeans!

*Giveaway & Guest Post* Blind to Men by Chris Lange

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!! I want you please give a warm Hussy Lair to a wonderful new to me author!! Please give a wonderful welcoming to Chris Lange!!!!!!!

Hi all and welcome to Cecile's beautiful blog,

My name is Chris Lange and I am a stubborn girl. This particular flaw has been my plague from early childhood but what do you know? It has finally paid off. Because getting published is somewhat about being stubborn.

You write a story, you like your story, heck, you love your story. You honestly believe you have created the best romance ever, but editors disagree with you. Once, twice, ten times: too hot, not hot enough; too graphic, not graphic enough; too much romance, not enough romance. Oh my God, why can’t they see your work is top notch? Probably because it isn’t and you should work on it a teeny-weeny bit more. And… you do.

Then one day you open your inbox, and there it is. THE email you had been dreaming of. THE email that sets your heart pounding and your eyes watering (okay, maybe I am overreacting!). THE email you dare click open to read with delight “Dear Chris Lange, I like your story very much”.

BLIND TO MEN is my second book. It's a fantasy story set in an ancient, utopian world. I took a lot of pleasure in creating the male character as I enjoy knights and warriors wielding big swords. Apparently my heroine enjoys it too J

News and updates can be found on my blog
My books are on Amazon except my latest paranormal story

Thank you Cecile for inviting me. To know more about BLIND TO MEN and less about me, join me tomorrow April 3rd at http://queentuttsworldofescapism.com

Blind to Men by Chris Lange

Blurb:
The day has come for Anya to reclaim her life. Protected by an Amazon, she must go to legendary Palance, the city of her dreams. She has to leave her home without even knowing she was cursed at birth. She is blind to men. She can’t see them, and they can’t see her. Except one.

Author Bio:
Somedays I wonder who I am: A lost teenager? An adult? A mother figure? A writer? One thing is for sure, I am a dreamer. I daydream, nightdream, Mondaydream, weekenddream, springdream, winterdream. Then I write.

I wrote my first short story at 13 to win a bet with my friends. I'm not sure if I won the bet that day, but I had written my first and last story for many years to come. I left my pens and my keyboard alone through high school, friendship, college, love, graduation, break-up, work, pay bills, take the children to school, walk the dog, more love, more break-up. Today, I enjoy writing, reading, watching TV series, going to the cinema, and traveling across Europe and the United States.

Name Your Passion

We’re all passionate about something… For starters, I’m damn proud to gobble up the candy at Cecile’s smutty hussy place!  When I’m not hussying, I’m either at my netbook writing about man candy and women with kickassitude (go hussies!) or I’m out flying over the Midwest U.S. countryside.  Yes, I’m a pilot, and even in the 21st century it’s still not common for women to fly (did you know women make up less than 5% of all pilot?). But, passion isn’t about the numbers. What really matters is that we do something that makes our heart do a little barrel roll, isn’t it?

Writing and flying are two things that add color—or passion—to my life.

Everyone has monsters under the bed…

The Seven Seals are said to be all that stands between humanity’s survival and the end of days. Led by a reclusive angel, the Seven are immortals, enhanced by the marks they bear. After centuries of bloodshed, the Seven and their Guardians have brought down the nefarious Dominion. But the world isn’t safe yet. Now, an outlaw hellhound is building an army to claim the Seven Seals for himself.

But what if you’re one of them?

A year ago, Lana Wolfe was brutally attacked—reborn a walking nightmare. Carrying scars from her past, she dedicates her life to destroying others like her. That is, until she’s challenged by Orion Benandanti, the Alpha of all hellhounds and host to the Third Seal. But when the hunter becomes the hunted and Orion’s Seal is put at risk, the only way to survive is for Lana to trust the man who very well may destroy her soul.

Excerpt:
For the first time since Lana Wolfe’s world had gone to hell in the proverbial hand basket, a spark had ignited in her soul. Hope. Hope for something beyond days of stalking and nights of killing. Hope that maybe she wouldn’t become one of the monsters that stalked the night.

Because Orion was different. He seemed like he’d been one of what she hunted for . . . well, for a long time. Yet he didn’t reek like the others. Quite the opposite. Her heightened senses drank him in like a parched sponge at an oasis.

Coming to Orion’s every night made her feel safe. There was magic on his farm. Even if for only a couple of hours each night, spending time here had been a welcome break from the hunt. The peace surrounding this place had made her believe the monsters couldn’t sully this oasis.

Except the stench in the air now warned her that hope was . . . hopeless. She was never safe. And now Orion wasn’t, either.

Her jaw clenched. She had covered her tracks. She was sure of it. There was no way the monsters could’ve tracked him from her trail.

From the safety of the tree line, she scanned the area. Her fur bristled when she saw lizard-like shapes sprawled across the backyard.

Dead monsters. Orion's work.

She counted. Six total. Killing one monster was a feat. But six?

Arma-fucking-geddon.
